Superb day witnessing UNITEN graduates receiving their scrolls and pledging to contribute to a more successful community. With their knowledge, talent and commitment, they will now make us all proud -the university via ALUMNI and of course, our beloved country via employability. Most of them have got a job, somewhere, and Dr Chua from ALUMNI has promised to declare the good statistics very soon. As always, the common comment among the successful ones is that they may not get 3.5 and above, but their soft skills, particularly communication and leadership grant them their dreams:) .
With the convocation banner up for a while at Dewan Seri Sarjana, I do hope the juniors will feel inspired to study hard and qualify for the Vice Chancellor Award (3.5 and above) and complete their studies observing a good balance of hard skills and soft skills. If employability statistics can't convince our undergraduates to participate in class and campus activities, rather than merely burying themselves in tonnes of books, I don't know what else to do or say. I surely pray for the best.(notice sponge bob in our crowd??!)
I was the master of ceremony, and I felt proud helping out in making the event flow smoothly without any hiccups. Most importantly, I certainly treasure the smiles from my ex-students who have finally breathed air of satisfaction and contentment. I'm very happy for their success. Down the line were Dolah, Azlan, Daniel, Jason, etc. To commemorate the grandeur of the day, I have included here pictures of Haidir (4th place UNITEN Public Speaking Competition 2007) and on top of the article, my photo with 3 outstanding ladies from ILMU : Syanita, Shuhada, and Amy. firstly congrates to all uniten's graduants...i attented my sister's convocation too at Ampang Park...but sad thing is i couldn't see her going up on stage and taking the scroll!!i could only catch a glimpse outside as the projector tv outside is not that clear...after the ceremony ended,i could see happy faces all around....including my parents,i think that is the happiest moment for them.When is it going to be my turn??haha....now i'm determined to work harder and graduates from uniten after 5 years with a high distinction!
Congratulations to all the graduates.For me, it is a long road ahead.Madem Zue is right.Nowadays, there a lot of students with flying colours and students with outstanding soft skills clearly have the advantage for employability.Employers are looking for people who can get the job done.In other words, they are looking for people who can kill 2 birds with one stone.These type of people are considered by employers as valuable assets to them because they are highly consistence and can cope with pressure and tight schedule.This attributes only exist in people with soft skills and not the people who only sit and study all the time.Other than looking for jack of all trades, employers are also looking for people who are passionate towards their job because these people are the people who are willing to do the extra mile and loyal to their employers.This is because,many people nowadays only work for money.Believe me, only people with soft skills know the true meaning and taste of passion.In a nutshell, soft skills are the de facto for employability in this era and I would like to reiterate the fact that the competition for jobs are fierce and only people with soft skills can go further and beyond.
wow, it's so awesome...deep down inside i felt very excited and at the same time i felt very envious towards seniors who have successfully graduated...they have not only achieve their dreams but also their parents' hopes...MISSION ACCOMPLISH!!! i hope one day i will also receive my scroll from that grand hall-DEWAN SERI SARJANA..amin....i'm hopping for your blessing pn zue..:p
graduation!!!!!its a great experience for anyone who enters colloges or universities..i myself has experienced graduation..hahaha..but its just a small thing compared to graduating in university with the scroll which worth our lifetime..
the graduation i went through was during my secondary school in MRSM MUADZAM SHAH..i have nothing be proud of because i only graduated wit GPA 3.09..it was a very disappointing moment as i targeted higher..it was sad to see my friends receiving their scrolls with GPA 3.5 above..
since the moment i entered UNITEN my aim was to obtain at least GPA 3.3 for each semester..and during my final semester i could graduate with flying colours..i dont want to disappoint myself and everybody around me once again..
the one who inspires me most is my mom.i just wanna make her feel proud and lastly prove to her that i made the right choice of enrolling myself in UNITEN to do my Information Technology..
to all my friends out there,foundation is not a honey moon year like what most of us think..we shuld start picking up the pace to be successful graduates like our seniors who graduated recently..
Congrats to all uniten's graduates. Last Sunday was the second time I came to Dewan Seri Saujana to attend the uniten's graduation day. Last year, my sister was one of the graduates here. Last Sunday, I'm free so I decided to take a walk from murni to DSS for the graduation day.Again,I saw so many graduates with smiling faces graduated.Nowadays, graduates from all universities need to compete to get a job. So after I attended the graduation day, I always feel inspired to study hard and hope to be one of them after another 5years..Of course, I also hope I can graduate with Vice Chancellor Award!
Besides having to stand outside in the scorching sun and was denied entry to enter the hall several times, i really did had a fulfilling day to see all the graduates in their black robes and mortar hats with their respective families utter words of love and their already obvious pride. My dad was in the crowd that day, his smile when he came out of that door drowns any other smile outside the hall, it was the smile of pure contentment and joy which has its unique way of saying 'i did it' and i want my children to work as hard as i did. Hugs and tears were all the norm but it was the pair of eyes that belongs to my grandmother showed more than happiness and pride, it is one of those indescribable tears and emotion that we all had experience, which somehow i knew existed in my grandmother's eyes. The scroll that one gets after graduating is not just a mere words on a piece of paper which suggest you have completed your studies but that piece of paper holds all the hardship, pain, tears and failures that every graduate have to endure. To juggle work, studies and his family and to get a masters, you would agree that he is an amazing person. Therefore, i don't have too look very far to find someone that i admire the most, that someone is not a football player, not a rockstar, not a f1 driver but he is simply my dad.
Congrats to the graduates, looking at things, it will be my turn next year, and i really hope that pn. zue will emcee the event. It was just like yesterday that i first enrolled into uniten, my first class was ASSF, monday at 8. time certainly has passed by quickly, so quickly in fact that i hope i took enough time to stop and smell the roses, university life is so going to effect us, more so than high school. I'm happy with things that i have done, achieved, avoided even! in uni. Could i have done more ?? guess so, but hey, i guess the important thing is to appreciate the things we did, and aspire to do more.
Uniten is certainly a place i that has given me more then just a degree. Bitter sweet moments at grad day for sure!
Rifdy, I'm so proud of you. Now, please congratulate your dad for his accomplishment. It's definitely challenging and courageous of him.
As others are paving their pathways to success, I can't wait to see Hemalan on stage next year...yupp:) I'll tell HEP I shall volunteer to be d emcee...jez tell me your session..like June or November..
To Hemalan, you've been doing very well in and outside class. I really enjoy teaching you ( did we do ENGF 102 also?) ENGF 103 (intellectually stimulating speech) and TECB 223 (superb oral presentation). I pray for your success, dear. at the end of high school, my batch was given the chance to feel what it was like to "graduate" out of school. to step on stage wearing the black robe, with a hint of purple (for pure science students), and mortar, i couldn't help but feel a wave of relief to be done with school. but it was just a new beginning for me as i started my new life in uniten. if i could feel such joy to "graduate" out of high school, i can't wait to complete my studies in uniten to not only have my parents be proud of me, but be proud of the effort that i promised myself to put into this course.
congrates to all of them.this is a unforgetable moment for all student and their parents who are working harder to give their children studies and lastly to get a scroll which make our parent happiest person on that day.as a child we must thankful to our parent moreover GOD.in 5 more years i'll be there to take the scroll and for this mission will work harder archive it.nevertheless, i would like to take this oppurtunity to thanks my parent for their consern and care on me. bye....

seriously,i'm really2 jelous with my sister and my brother.my sister was graduated from UTP in degrees and also in from OUM in her master prgm.my brother also in a way to graduate.both of them are otw to take their PHD prgm at overseas.arghhh..i'm suppose to be like both of my siblings.wanna to make my parents proud for my success in study.now,i must study..study....study....studyy....study...and study...and no full stop for it.hehe.i also jelous,when my parents were attended their ceremony or graduation day..=(
i hope,at UNITEN i can complete my target to become what i want to be in the future.I also hope one day,i can give my parents tickets to attending my ceremony of graduation.hehe.hopefullyyyy...=)

First of all i would like to congrates to all UNITEN graduates.Madame, i also want share my experience when my siblings graduated in UNITEN in November 2007.
My brother (Davendren Vereya) is a Bachelor of Hons Mechanical Eng and my sister (Kasturi Vereya) Bachelor of Hons Accountancy are also graduated from UNITEN on November 2007. Im very proud of my brother and my sister that they had graduated and doing their jobs. I also attend to their graduation. I have great chance to see my siblings going on stage and taking the scroll from the chancelor.After the ceremony, alot of happy faces inside and outside DSS. I was snapping the pictures of my sibblings and their fellow friends. A lot of bouquet flying with their graduation hat off the DSS roof. I was happy to see succesful people. In a nutshell, i also must work harder graduates from uniten after 4 years with a high distinction.

graduation day..??? hurm..my spirit is coming up..firstly..congratz to all of them..!graduation day is usually known as an unforgetable event for all graduants n their parents..i attended my brother's convocation at uitm shah alam..it was my first time experience..and at that time,i felt very proud of my brother..n i said to myself to work harder,harder,n harder if i wanna success like him..after the ceremony ended..i hugged my bro n said congratz to him..i can feel it was the best n happiest moment for my parents..n i'd promised to myself to work harder so that i can prove to my parents that i also can be a graduant n success like them..
Graduation day...
Seriously, i can’t wait to be a ‘graduan’. It suppose to be one of the happiest day in my life. And also in my parent’s life. My graduation day will be the first convocation that i will attend. InsyaAllah. This is because during my sister and brother’s graduation, there always be about 2 weeks to my trial exam. My eldest sister graduate during my PMR Trial, while my only brother graduate during my SPM Trial. So, my mum ask me to go to school. So, i can’t attend their graduation day. Hurmmmmmmm.... i’m so sad. All of my family members go, but i have to go to school. Now, i can’t wait to celebrate my graduation day. so, to realise my dream, i will study smart to make sure i don’t have to repeat paper.
