it's really a pleasure reading this entry. My own experience as ex-unitenian has taught me a lot. It's a combination of the university education and personal life enhancement and being a responsible graduates serving to the nations and malaysians.

Frankly speaking, i think that most of the students enter universities solely because of the degrees or qualification provided by universities. It is quite reasonable since a high level of degree is an essential prerequisite for getting a high paid job nowadays. Some companies even put these requirements as priority before they weigh the ability of their potential employees. That is the reason why i think that people nowadays join varsity - to get certifications.
Indeed it's a very motivating article which motivated me. I would agree that UNITEN is a place where i as a student can achieve my future and my goal.

Why am I here..? The first time I stepped in, I was confused and actually refused to continue my studies here. But after a week in the Orientation Week, plus two days attending the classes, I can see what will I get, and how to achieve the success if I keep on doing what am I doing now. Frankly speaking, UNITEN is not my first choice for tertiery education. I hoped that i could've obtain a scholarship for me to go overseas, preferably the United States. Unfortunately, that didnt happened. However, just like in a Poker game, i've got to play with the cards that i've been dealt. I think that the most important part of university education is the chance to learn and enhance our soft skills. When you think about it, every university student of the same course learn almost the same material around the globe. What makes some to be able to climb to the pinaccle of success while most of them stay average and normal? It's the soft skills and the ability to think critically and out of the box. For instance, the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, and the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, had not completed their university studies. However, they are way more successful than most of the Ph.D holders. This proves that there IS something more to learn in the university-soft skills and thinking skills-that are not written in textbooks. I will join a lot of curriculum activities besides studying hard AND smart in order to develop myself in all aspects so that i can beat all my peers in this insanely-competitive environment.

For me being in UNITEN is the greatest moment of my life because in all my school life i have been studying hard to get a place in any overseas school.
With the first week of school, I gurantee that this university will mould me in having a successful life in the future. I say this because they not only have education but they have other organisation you can join to spend your leisure time such as sports activities for healthy living, karate and taek wando for self defence and many more.
Now im going to try my best and study hard to give back UNITEN what it has given to me.With better education comes better GPAs.

In about 3 years ago I remembered after I sent my sister at Murni,my father said to me “Ena,you’re going to UNITEN one day” then I just smile as in my heart said “hey,UNITEN have a great environment”. Also,de apartment seems very nice. By looking at my sis also I realize that it brings joys to her. She really was enjoying her life at UNITEN. From that I know that UNITEN is a great university. After SPM, my father and mother support me through everything. They help me to choose what course I should take. They also took me to UNITEN open day.

Most of the commenters in here are the one who enrolling into Uniten by their own wishes. As for me, it's for the sake of the beloved parents and the distance of the univesity itself from my house. Eventhough it takes about 1 hour driving but still, i considered it as an okay situation compared to if i've been sent to Kelantan, Perlis or other places that are far from Selangor and KL. To be honest, before i entered Uniten, i'm not in a good shape since i'm not really interested in getting into this university. I've lot in my mind. As time goes by, i get to know lot of friends and seniors. They help me to fit in the life of campus. To be honest I'd always wanted to further my study in any possible way instead of lolling about at home ,and getting a chance to enrol myself at a uni is something to be proud of,something that I can actually brag about to my mates. Albeit Uniten wasn't in my list, and IT makes me feel heartily alienated since my major interests are art,literature,and everything in that area, but as I spent the last 2 weeks in my not to say commodious but okay bedroom provided by the uni itself,and i pondered about it, I finally realised that this is the place for me.A chance. And God knows how I'm glad I took it.

It has been almost eight months since I have entered Uniten.Along this journey,I have learnt a lot of things that I never knew.Basically,coming to Uniten was not a choice of mine.I planned to do form 6 but I ended up here in Uniten.I definitely will never regret being here especially when I am learning so many things that could help me and which could be able to apply in future.Firstly,I would love to talk about the lecturers here.They are all very helpful and very friendly as well.They do help a lot in making us understand our syllabus.I think that was the main reason I got a good pointer in my trimester 1.Other than that,the knowlegde I get here will definitely help me a lot especially during my working period.Everything I learn can be applied so that I could excell well.Therefore,if I become a successful person in the future,all the credits goes to UNITEN.

Why am I here? I always ask myself this question whenever I feel depressed or feel like giving up study in UNITEN. Well, I'm here because I want to become a successful person. In my opinion, to be successful doesn't mean that you have to be the most popular person in UNITEN, or getting the highest marks of all the UNITEN students. For me, to be successful person is to archive something. Something that you wanted it to be in your hands. I came UNITEN, with a dream. I wanted to be an successful engineer which can serve the people around the world with the knowledge I have, I want to design and build wonderful machines than can make human life easier and safer. And I believe that, UNITEN can make my dream come true, UNITEN can turn me into a successful person. That is why I choose UNITEN.
What do we looking for in the future? As we grown up, having own family and taking up all responsibility of own self, why do we seek for success? And as in life, success meant a really important thing in my life. It represents almost perfection and it's really great if we had it. Success from what we work out from hard work when it bears fruit, the feeling is unspeakably awesome. It freezes the sun, melts the ice pole and imperfection to perfection. To be frank, going to university for me is just stepping further in life and that is; undergoing the tertiary education level. It automatically sets my goal, to get a scroll degree in the course I enroll. Precisely, it is a goal we all share. However, studying in Uniten made me think beyond my small horizons. Two trimesters have been passing by, I could say that I was encouraged by the environment to learn and perform my best in scoring my cgpa. I dare to say, I am fitting well. What encouraged me most was the library we have in Uniten. (huh, how did the library inspired you?) I have the heart to read everything and anything and this made me explore the books at the uniten library. I could find whatever I'm looking for there. Second, is the lectures in class. We intend to complaint the bad ones, but we never engage the good ones. Being in trimester so far and experiencing trimester one and two, I'm so thrilled with some of the lectures that shaped a momentum in me to dream and gain high. I was inspired by one of the lecturer to aim for the moon and land among the stars, and that lecturer is also my mentor that Uniten has put for me. I hope I can keep this energy until throughout my degree.
Around the globe, there are a lot to value and learn from. People who learn are those who can gain. I feel content by being in uniten although it was my plan b, when I was a fresh spm leaver. I stand to believe Uniten and university education all together can be one of the reasons for one to be successful.

Yes so it's obvious that success depends on how we define it and from our own perception. Maybe one might think that winning a grammy would be considered a great succes, a scientist would consider winning the Noble prize an achievement in life whereas a businessman would consider himself succesful if he feels the credit cards jingling in his pockets.
Honestly it's hard to decide on the true meaning of success. Some have reached the end of their line and decided, whatever they gained in life was nothing but lust and wishful thinking. Others lie six feet under with a sense of emptiness eventhough they have reached the top of their career.
Now the question is, what is my definition of success? Honestly, i don't know. Do i want to be an engineer? Maybe. Do i want to be a singer? Definately. So at the end of my life if i failed to become a singer and became an engineer, does that mean i've failed? Or if i manage to become a singer and thread on the path of stardom, does that signify i have attained success? You decide. because i honestly can't.

yes university education is a platform for someone to success but it's depends on that individual to take it or not. for example, there are many students who were been kicked out from university. why? this is because they didn't try hard to get what they want. they ignore their first step to success.
although excellent in the university, does not mean that is successful. Yes, the student is successful at the university, but it is only a small success. The real success is that after going to university and get a dream job.
besides that, many outstanding graduates who are out there, but unemployed. graduates from overseas still have to compete with graduates in the country to get a job.
So for me, university is a part of success, but the real success is the ability to survive in the real world and know how to deal with it.

As everyone said, it was a very inspiring and motivating article. =) Why am I here in Uniten? Well, at first, I have no reason for being in uniten, part of my life perhaps? I personally wanted to study in music and dance but my mummy strongly disagree with me, so I have to just randomly choose one of the subject that I think I might like it. I had chosen Uniten because few of my seniors recommended and the certificate was worldwide known. I have applied to uniten during Open Day 2010, and since I got the offer letter and I just decided to stick with it. I am thinking will I regret choosing Uniten and more. After studying in Uniten for the pass 2 semester, I notice that, Uniten is not that bad after all. Besides academic, there are many other things that I could learn here like leadership skills, organizing camp, critical thinking and more. The thing that I learn most is independent, as I am the only daughter, my mummy never let me do house cores, taking public transport, cleaning my own room and all. She does everything for me, but now in Ilmu, I am force to do all by myself. I wont talk more about academic in Uniten as we can study in any university in this world. Things that I really appreciate in Uniten is the environment and the opportunities here that makes me a better person.

Each of us are born with a different type of talent.However,many people do not succeed in life because they do not have a positive attitude.So,if we have the right attitude and look for solutions to problems and view challenges as opportunities to gain experiences,our problems and challenges will seem small.

Why am i here in UNITEN?do i really have the intention to become an engineer?these question often popped in my mind.well, actually i have been thinking about it and the answer are not that simple.what i actually think is university is a place where you could know yourself better.

Sometimes,we actually don't really know about ourselves or what are we meant to do in life.During school, i always wanted to go to culinary school and be a chef,but a little twist in my life brought me to UNITEN.At first,i never thought of learning engineering because i lack of interest.In the long run, i discovered the other side of me where i could actually cope with engineering courses.
Hence,i think the university is a great place as a starting line to pursue in our career by getting to know yourself first.
I remembered the feeling i got when i received my SPM result split in year 2010. The feel was amazing and no words could express my feelings. Instead i shouted in joy to explode my feelings in me. Yes, it was a bit weird but who cares, other guys in the hall were doing the same too. All my work and time poured has produced great results for my SPM. My parents were happy. To me, the greatest satisfaction was when i called my parents about my results. I KNEW that i had made my parents proud.

The 1st reason that I chose UniTeN was because of my parents. They told me it was an excellent university with high recognition among engineering industries. In addition, I do not agree that university education can make a person successful. For instance, take a look at Bill Gates. He did not graduate from a university when he invented Microsoft. Education could only do so much in a persons life, but dedication and passion will make a person successful. When a person is interest in, say cars. He would do research, modification and learn all he could about cars. These research will benefit him because they contain information which university education may not cover. It will no be surprise that one day, that person would think of a way to produce more efficient vehicles, using both electrical and water! ( Just saying, but in actual fact, i dont think water can help much in powering a car. )

Obviously university is a valid benchmark for success after school, but it's not the only path to achieve success. For example, there are some people who go for a work after their secondary school or even haven finished their secondary school programme, and in the end they were the CEO of some big company. Another example, sportsman like Dato' Lee Chong Wei achieved success not through university, but through the effort he put in badminton. So we can conclude that we can achieve success through any paths, the important thing is how much you put your effort into it. I still remember my secondary school Vision is "Deeds not words" which means if you want to achieve something, you must put in all your effort but not keep says that you want this or you want that, and in the end you do nothing.
Why I'm in Uniten? Honestly, I came here because the Engineering programme here is cheaper than other university. My sister's friend was graduated here and she said Uniten not bad, so my sister sent me here. This is my second reason. Now I realised Uniten is quite good(definitely not compare with those private University like Taylor's University or Sunway College) and I like the life style here--no shopping centre around so that I can concentrate on my study. I think this was the reason why Uniten was build here and I believe Uniten as the Malaysia Top 11's university can let me achieve my success and for sure make me a sucessful person in the future.

Success is considered a very important statement among people nowdays.They think that if you’re successful,it means that you can leap through any barricade or obstacle that is put upon you.This I think is totally a misinterpretation of success.The term success actually means one who’s good at what he or she does and does it to a certain sense of perfection.

Everyone desire to success in their life, it also same to me.. I wish to success too, thats why i choose UNITEN, as i heard a lot of peoples say that UNITEN is one of the best Engineering school in Malaysia and its certificate also well recognize by others. It is not easy to success in our life, it need to pay alot of hardship in order to get a good returns. Ya of course i understand how hard is it to success that why i always study very hard, sometimes i felt jealous on some of my friends who always seem to relax and do nothing,and i am the one need to study so hard, but i know and understand that 1 day i will going to success if i maintain so..

actually, i am here today with the hope that i'll become a successful engineer in my future.Besides that, i've thought that this is the best path to follow for achieving my aspiration.After enrolling in uniten, i realize that varsity life is really helpful in pointing the angle of life if we be serious and put a great effort in studies.Here, i would like to remind that varsity students should not fully hope on lecture in class but they have to undergo some extra revision and exercises after they back from class.i'm very sure that all varsity students can hit their goal if they try to do something like i described above...

To achieve success,we must work hard and there is always no shortcut to success.I do believe that university education will make us be successful person.When we study in university,all the knowledge we learn will be used in future which is in our job.Unlike primary and secondary school,all the knowledge we learned at that time is just a basic,but university education made us become more mature and intellectual in short that is to make us become successful person. Other than gaining knowledge in university,for those who live in hostel also learn to be independent.At hostel,we wash cloth,clean the house,settle our 3 meals,go somewhere else by taking public transport all by ourselves. Well, before i enter UNITEN, i don't even heard about it's name. After my SPM examination, i'm confusing whether i should stick to my old friends in secondary school or try a new place and mix with new friends, new environment. But then i decided to study at a new environment which is UNITEN under my parents suggestion. Now, i'm in UNITEN and i don't know whether i will success in the future or not as it is too abstract and future is unpredictable.

as i mentioned earlier, work hard MAY lead to success. it is not the primary attribute that contributes to success. place or to be specific, surrounding do affect success. as i currently studying in UNITEN, the surrounding actually help me to get one more step to success. what is my definition of success? for me, if i can get a worth money-saving job for my future, it will be my success. so, in uniten it really helped me a lot. to emphasize, we all know that uniten is well recognized place to further one study. the surrounding includes the experienced lecturers, supportive friends and harmony place to study will help me to achieve success. the definition of success depends on your desire and your desire will only affected by specific disturbance.

One day i accidentally saw my senior's blog and he wrote about success and at the end of paragraph he wrote 'the road to success always under construction' and i found it quite interesting and meaningful.For me i really don't know when only a person consider as a successful man because everyone do have their own definition for success.For me Uniten definitely is not the first choice of university that i wish to enter this is because i was doing my form6 previously and normally to those who study form6 their main aim is to enter local U which is cheaper compare private U.Because of my study attidue i failed to enter local U and I came to Uniten because my cousin is study here and before i decide i also do some research on every private U and found out that the fees in Uniten is cheaper compare others private U and many people give good comment in Uniten forum.Frankly speaking at sem2 i started to think am i choosing the right Uni for myself because i found out that the standard in the form of management and exam is not so good as what i expected in the forum,i also doubt whether is our uni certificate really recognise by company in our country or even U.K engineering board.I try to seek some lecturer here and some of the lecturer give me some advise to study hard and try to get a scholarship to continue my study in other uni or college.

Since we were young,we enter kindergarden,then we proceed to primary and secondary school,and after years of studying in school,we aim to enter university in order to further our studies.In short,entering university has become a must step for everyone as a platform to achieve success in the future.Why?This is because todays employers are most likely to choose employees with some good soft skills plus flying colour result from the university.Thus,it can't be denied that university education is really important.
As for me,why did I choose uniten as a place to continue my study?Frankly,I also did not have a valid reason.After spm result was released,I got offers from matriculation and UiTM and I was in a dilemma to choose between those two.To make it more interesting,I was introduced to uniten as my brother was a former student of uniten.He told me that uniten is a very good place for engineer students and can help to improve our communication skills as the students are from different races.So,after doing some thinking,I rejected those two offers and step into uniten gate and start my life as uniten student.Now,i'm still not regret about my decision and I hope that success will always be on my side after I have graduate from uniten.amin.

Why am I here in UNITEN? This question always comes into my mind too. The main reason I choose UNITEN is because I want to achieve success in my life. I am very interested in IT stuff, so I want study something that suits my favourite and hope to become a professional in software engineering. As we all know, UNITEN is well recognised for its education quality, so I want to achieve a better education and success in my life.

First of all, well known certificate. Uniten has a good reputation in Malaysia and others country. Besides, Uniten has many good facilities, such as it has an Olympic size swimming pool, badminton hall, gymnasium, tennis court, mini stadium and more…..
Uniten also has good scenery. When I feel stress, I will jog around Uniten and try to clear all my stress.

Everyone wants success. People talk about setting goals and positive thinking and getting to the top. Even I does that when I am sitting for my SPM. At the end it really pays. I was excited and overwhelming joy. The moment i called my parents and told them, they were so proud of me. The most important thing, i did achieve success in my SPM result.
Why am i here in UNITEN? There is no any particular reason why i choose Uniten as my primary university life. It's all happen when I was at my national service camp over there. There was a group from Uniten came and promoting the university. It was so nice of them when we communicate with them. yeah the first impression was so good till I wanna know more about them which makes me to surf the net and get more information!
The second reason was my dad. He said he know about this Uniten and even he wants me to enrolled in this uni. He said that this uni has a higher recognition among engineering studies.At first i was expecting to get JPA scholar but when it fails i decided to enter uniten whatelse if it is not recognised worldwide.
I believe uniten can make me to achieve success and provide me better standard of education to compete among engineers!
In our life, everything will never come by itself, we need to grab the chance, take the challenge, work on it, to get it success. So, in order to become a successful person, education is very important for everyone, it is same for me too. when i'm already here, once i met a staff of uniten he asked me"?" then i asked him and who are you to ask me are you student here ?? then i realized that he is a staff...but he told me something nice he said"i study always and i don't have even time to catch up with it".
also, once my brother was telling how i changed since i came to study here...he was mentioning to my way of expressing my thoughts and feelings..
Education, where ever we are and no matter what its whether it's a university or a working place... we are learning and building our minds...we coming here to study because we believe that no place for ignorant among us.

For me,my life has been change when i being in Uniten, i met new kind of friends and they help me with the success, Universiti teached me how ask something that i dont know, Why ? because we are no longer afraid to the teacher like we did when we still in school.So we can ask anything about the subject without feeling nervous.Universiti also provide us the basic understanding of skills at the work place.Yeah! For your first question Why are you here, in UNITEN?
In fact UNITEN was not my choice. My mom asked me to study here because she said it's near with my sweet sweet home and I do not need to stay in hostel. Save cost =)
So with forced, here am I in UNITEN eventhough I really wanted to go for MMU. For the first semester here I keep asked my mom can I withdraw from UNITEN and going to MMU?But for sure mom will not allowed. We have paid almost RM10K here so why do I have?
So here am I till now in UNITEN chasing what I want. So I set up my mind I already here,my destiny to be here so just go along with it. Study here and graduate here, get a degree and get what I want in my life.
And for your second question. Do you believe that university education will make you a successful person?
Yes because without an education we can't get a good job for better life. But actually to be a successful person really depends on the individual itself. It doesn't matter if you go to University but you does not have any dreams,goals what for are studying for 3 years in university?There is no guarentee for a University student once you enroll in University so you'll become the most successful person. Nope actually. Like I said you if doesn't have the spirit the desire to be a successful person then you lose eventhough you're graduated from a well known University.

But first, where do I get the power? I ponder myself. Of course! University will be the place for me to accomplished that. Since schooldays i've been dreaming about changing the world. But now, i've to equip myself with the knowledge to change myself first. Big thing starts with the small ones first. This is where UNITEN gets into the picture.
I believe in UNITEN, i can enlight myself to see the vast knowledge that are waiting for me to be scooped to really get me ready for the real world. UNITEN is really a "training ground" for me to have obtain the life skills like having to tolerate with different types of people, how to be disciplined by having to meet a task deadline and also the soft skills as the extra knowledge to further enhance my knowledge and to be implemented in my life later on. In my opinion university education will make everybody to get successful in his life because if you want good position in any company you must have at least bachelor degree and with some experince to work and make you a successful person in your life .
I will share with you my story when i decided to complet my study .
I came to uniten to complete my study and get more knowledge in my field because i have deploma and work experince for 4 years but no any new position in my work i was in same level and same salary for 4 years but i saw my friends how have bachelor every 2 years they got new position and more successful in job and I asked one of them about the jobs and how to get a new position in your company every 2 years and the jobs in the market he said " you must have at least Bachelor to get good position and higher salary in any company" after that i decided with my family to complete my study in abroad to get at least master certificate in my field to successful and build a good life for me and my family .

I've always thought of success in my life, and wanted to prove to myself, my worthy-ness, and through my search for success I found that enrolling to a university is the best way for me, and also in order for succeeding in university you need a good environment, accompanied by good education level, so I choose Malaysia as the country where I will be studying in, and choose Uniten because many of my friends recommended it for me, and I also believe it will provide me with the education needed for my success.

In my opinion, it is truly a fallacy, because in our days, right now, education are really more into money and profits especially on privates(IPTS), to them we are only a commodities that generate profits..
For me, they should look at us(students) as their assets, not as commodities, because commodities are merely just a tools,things that expendable in most of their actions. We(students) not even in factors for what ever decision they making, and of course, for profits and survival of their company.
So the question here, how we suppose to be successful if our potential,effort, expenses and needs were ignore by this so called "Education Industries"?
Why this things happen? In my private opinion, this is because the system of education that we use. Where the human potential and advantages are ignored to entertain the rigid rules in the educational structures.

Anyway, university is only motivation and a catalyst to success if we use is in the right way because that most of student went to universities to get degrees or qualification not for creative!.

Of course I’m here in Uniten to study, and pursue my degree. Based on your question Puan, I do believe university education can help me to achieve my target to live a bright future. But of course, it’s also depending on my attitude during this period of studying. If I really am focusing on my aim and delivering the best for every subject, by God’s will I will succeed. Sometimes I envy those smart students who do not have to work hard to get a good result as average student like me. So, what matters the most for me is attitude in handling all the challenges in order to succeed. And when I am awarded with success, it’s truly the sweetest gift for me
In my opinion any person has a high aspiration for excellence, also they have their skills of their own, but they need someone to put them in the right way and I think that university education is the best way to succeed in the life of the person .
I chose Uniten because Uniten has specific criteria to refine the person and the formation of his character in all respects To reach the success.
University is a way to extand our knowledege with great self confident. So it the best place to have the higher education from.
That does not mean anybody got his certificate is the right person to chose there are alot of people who is happy in thier life without any higher study but in this time it becom the first thing to let people look into your profile to hier you in thier company.
Now to be in university like UNITEN is one way to explore the world ... so it is really important.
I admit that sometimes this question pops up in my mind. Why am I here? Yes it’s true, it might be a turn of fate or even but after all, if I didn’t choose to be here in the first place, I wouldn’t be here though. I chose to be here with a mission, to dare myself. I want to dare myself to gain as much knowledge as I can in this school so that I can apply it in my life. There are many different reasons for someone to attend university. The most important for me are its good academic education I can get and the new people who I can meet here. Naturally, both interfere new experiences and benefits for my personal development. First at all, I believe that by attending university, I can get more education there. It opens the door to a success for my career. At school, we are supposed to get the basics of knowledge and discipline. However, by attending university we can concentrate on the subjects we find interesting or necessary for our future job, indeed. Besides, I can gain new experiences by meeting interesting people with different backgrounds. For example, many students come from another countries or culture, speak a different language and have diverse religions or customs. It could be very useful and exciting to get to know someone who differs a lot from us
Well, it’s not always that university education will make you a successful person, but I believe it is one of the paths towards success. Education is essential in every person’s life. It is one of the most important factors everybody should have in them to succeed in life even though effort actually comes first. So, I do believe that I should gain as much knowledge as I can in my life to be better in time and this school is one of places where Ican gain the knowledge to the fullest. All in all, i strongly believe university education is actually a trigger to one’s success as it is not easy to succeed in this globalization era without knowledge.
No doubt, university education is a must to make us becoming a successful person. Imagine ourselves unable to continue our studies to university education, there's high chance that we cannot be a successful person even though some people in the past were able to be successful without having to go through university education, but the percentage is just too little. It is here in university education where we learn the criteria, acquire the valuable skills and build the foundation for a promising future that assures us of success in our life in this world. After all, it all depends on individuals whether that person can be a successful person or not.
As for the first question, why am I here in UNITEN? To be honest, the main reason why I chose UNITEN is because of its strategic location, that is situated not far from my hometown, so I could reduce the expenses which I don't have to pay for the accommodation. I didn't mind going to continue my studies in any universities as long as the university is a well recognized university by the government and organizations, and the university offers IT courses. Yes, UNITEN is one of them, and that's why I chose UNITEN.
In a way I do and in a way I don't. Most of all the jobs in this unpredictable world requires some type of degree or college courses. People with degrees have a higher chance of getting hired for the job. For example, a teacher, pharmacist, and nurse require some type of degree. So yes I do think that people with degrees are somewhat more successful. but some people with degrees have a hard time finding jobs. I know many people with a degree in business administration that's been jobless for years. they had to do "pick-up" work here and there.
I think the education it’s important for our life. I believe studying in uniten will make myself a successful human. Indeed I’m looking for the high education like smart access and key of life , if you have it can reaching anywhere you want it , because each place wants you to be with them.
everybody wanna be a successful person in their own life. including myself. that is why im here in uniten because i believe uniten is one of the best private university in msia. and in uniten i believe i will achieve a strong degree certification
that can boost my chance of getting a job when i am interviewing with other graduates from other university because uniten's has the market value and already established their brand in the industries.
Being successful is a difficult thing to accomplish. A University is just another platform that helps you achieve it. I’ve been studying in UNITEN for almost 2 years now and I think it is a great place to achieve my goals.
Life experience is also important in being successful. All the obstacles you face will help you grow and become a better person which I think is the most important accomplishment.
Different people have different goals, and higher education may or may not be the vessel for everyone’s goal. Some people dream of becoming a jet pilot, some want to get rich, the list continues… of course if you choose to pursue your dream of becoming a pilot you have to enroll in a university, but if you have other things in mind higher education may not be the only way to reach them. Let me put it this way, Gates family were rich as the Bill’s father, William Henry Gates was a prominent lawyer, and initially Bill’s parents wanted him to become a lawyer so they sent him to Harvard, but he decided to drop out of college and pursue his dream, there is no doubt if he had remained in Harvard he would make one hell of a lawyer and would also be successful, but do you think he would have made as much money as he made off Microsoft? Not in a million years!
My other outstanding example is R.I.P. Steve Jobs he dropped out of the college only after one semester, but he still managed to establish Apple Inc. and turn it into one of the largest corporation in the world.
Now let’s have a look at Mark Zuckerbeg “inventor” of facebook. He actually has a double major, in Computer Science and Psychology, but it isn’t the only reason why he is so successful today, he started learning programming since he was 6 and years of practice made him proficient. Harvard wasn’t sole reason of his success, being able to meet Winklevoss brothers and stealing their idea made him rich he just implemented their idea into a software and ripped them off to build “The FaceBook”.
In conclusion there are many ways to achieve your goals but higher education isn’t your only option, but one thing for sure, you’re up for a great challenge if you choose the hard way.
I dont really agree with the word university education will make you a successful person.It too subjective.It all depend on us,some of person do study at university but hardly to pass it or even to graduation from the university.Somehow these person still manage to archive what they want and success in life.Let we look some example of person who drop out from university.Bill Gate founder of Microsoft,Steve Job founder of Apple,Larry Ellison Oracle founder and many more.They all are drop out from unversity but still can success in life.Like i said before it all depend on us.We live in IT era where there are Internet that can be our book and reference.

and i would like to say that i think this is a very interesting and widely shared topic amongst ambitious and inspired people. for success brings joy and a sense of fulfillment and can boost the confidence of someone, in the sense of, if i can successfully do this, i could possibly do that. sure to be able to do something and be successful in that particular thing is an exhaustive process, but the feeling is quite rewarding.
in my opinion being in a university does not necessarily mean success, a person could have some modest education but at the same time can pull success. this doesnt mean that a university does not help in that process, on the contrary a university can be good to polish the skills and talents possessed by a people. it aids in so many ways the chances of success and opens lots of locked doors for the pursuer of a successful life.for that reason, i believe that in uniten i can learn and prepare myself to look for my goal. i hope the best for every one who are trying to accomplish that goal.

After receiving my SPM results, I was happy, very happy indeed. Teachers in my school wrote me off. They lost hope on me because they thought I was to playful. Well, it is no their mistake to have a thought like that about me. I was a very playful student, mischievous at times but i believed deep in my heart i can score well.When my results were announced, i was overjoyed , so were my parents and teachers. That was the first taste of success. After finishing school,i was left with the option of going to a university or continue my Form 6. Well, pursuing my degree was my choice. So i ended up in UNITEN. The first few months were difficult. Adaptation and culture shock played a big part. It became worse when i sat for my first final examination. I sat by a corner and thought for awhile. Why am I here in UNITEN? after some deep thinking , i reached a conclusion.
The purpose of me being in UNITEN is to elevate myself to next step of life, to obtain a degree which will allow me to find a good job and also to obtain invaluable experiences in life where no other place can provide. These are the reasons for me being in UNITEN and being in my final semester, I truly believe that university education will sculpt a person to be successful. This is because 4 years of education puts a student in various situations and adversities. They continuously learn, and when they graduate, all these learning makes them a better and successful person in life.

Why I am here at UNITEN ? It is because I can see that UNITEN actually can generate professional. But have you ponder what kind of professional that UNITEN means ? Professional in terms on how we manage our time, on how we can tolerate with other people, on how we can actually can manage to get excellent results.
As for me, I have my own achievements and goals in UNITEN. And I will not depend to other people to help me, and always study group with my friends whenever finals is coming. If I can help my friends in studies, I will try to help them in any ways. Because I believe that if I help people, Allah will help me more. I have my own study groups, and my own HAHA groups.

In my opinion, success is when you work very hard for something and in the end you get the bliss and benefits out of it. I also think that success doesn't mean that you, yourself only gets the benefit, but also to me, success is when I am able to fulfill the hopes of others especially my parents. I do believe that university education will make me more successful in life as it guarantees an employment when i graduate.
However, in terms of success, i think that not only university education can make you successful, but its also your determination, efforts, hardworking and good personality that also contributes to a success. Of course education is a priority in life, but from what I have observed, it doesn't take an educated person to be successful, its how we manage our lives to what we want to achieve in life, and that is success.
I'm not saying that we don't need education, but just saying that even if you don't have the opportunity to further studies, don't give up in life as you still can achieve success but in other ways :)
I agree with this inspiring article. In my own opinion there are many and different reasons for every single student why they enter a university?
Well, my reason wasn't just to gain success as much as it was to communicate with other knowledge and other ideas from my friends and the lecturers that Uniten offer. I'm a second year student and so far I've learned a lot of things not just our materials, but also knowing the techniques of team working and completing a competition. I do believe after finishing my degree it's gonna be my second success, because for me the first one was finishing my diploma in Enginerrng.
At the end I would like to mention that success dosen't come with just being in a university! No, we can be successful by getting every posiable apportinites in this life, there are many examples to get that goal and we are living in a knowledgable world so don't be limited! Find your own path and drive through it.

Uniten was not my first choice, it was never in my list too. I chose it because of parents. However, I'm glad that I can handle this course. True, success is the sweetest gift of life. When I get the succeed in certain ways such as get recognition from lecturers, I know it was not a wrong choice. I believe everyone has the hard time but don't give up and strive hard. Success is not easy to get, it needs certain hard time to test your determination level just like you have to climb the slope to the peak and then feel the succeed breeze.

in the year 2009, I was chosen to continue my studies in Kuala Pilah matriculation college where I need to follow the lessons in life sciences. at the time I accepted the offer, I was not particularly interested in the field provided. so, I decided to continue waiting for an offer from IPTA. once again, I was accepted to further my studies in diploma of mechanical engineering, UTM. still, I told my dad that I was not interested in that field. at that time, my father seemed sad because too concerned with my decision. after several days of that date, my parents brought home an offer letter that received from UNITEN. my name was selected to attend Foundation in Computer Science. but, I asked my name to be changed to the Foundation of IT field. no problem, my application has been received. I was confident, UNITEN has an ability to generate the best students that always have confindence and creative. My parents said that UNITEN is a good university. so, until now I still believe that UNITEN is able to generate professionals in line with their tagline, 'UNITEN generates professional'. true, success is the sweetest gift of life. seriously, i want to be a successful person here. thus, I hope my learning process as student will always be simplified and most blessed. hope that Puan Zue always pray for my success.

I am an international student and probably it is more difficult for me to pay for the high tuition fees compare to local students.I could not enter UM because of my nationality(I don't know whats wrong with my nationality) and I did not apply for UTM because it is too far from KL and I did not want to be apart from my family.so I applied for Uniten because my sister was also studying in Uniten and she encouraged me to study here. thank god I am happy with that , until now I could achieve my points.
I believe that humans can reach anything regardless of where they are and who they are. I have read several autobiographies by Bill Gates and several other successful personalities. They have a few things in common, they know what they want and they want it bad enough to ensure that they achieve their goals. this is what I believe and I made it the base and I think this will bring me success in my life,however I have reached a part of it.
For me, I choose UNITEN because i know UNITEN is the best university compare to others universities in this country.UNITEN also have many advantages for us as a student for further studies. To complete my studies because I finished the Diploma Mathematical and Computer Sciences, and after I finished my studies I got a job. It was a typical evening when all the city folks were racing home after work, but not for this young girl who was standing alone in the middle of the city, crying, after receiving news that she will be fired. After all this was the first job that she loved so much and being eldest in the family she had no idea how to reveal the news to her beloved parents who were relieved financially after she had start working. It was none other than me. That was when I declared myself as a failure.
Following that I had no choice but to accept my father’s decision to complete my degree so that I could land in a better job. My father made sure that I filled up the Uniten’s online application completely by standing next to me. That was how I entered Uniten... that was why I was here, to fulfil my father’s dream. The only question that was running is my head was “didn’t people succeed without attending university?”
However as days pass by, my negative view towards university education started decaying. At first I was thinking Abraham Lincoln and Albert Einstein just to name a few were one of the successful humans who flourished without attending university, but later realized different people are created by God for different purpose through different way. If everyone wants to be like them without attending university, its illogical just like if everyone wants to be doctor, who will be the patient?
Uniten is the place where I started to fell in love with myself, I started to learn about myself, who am I, I started to be thankful for where I am now because I met inspiring lecturers.
This is the place I see reality, real success, which anyone can achieve by working hard towards it... some lecturers taught me not only the technic skills that I needed but also taught me the skills I needed to work in a group and made me realize the hidden truth of myself.
A famous quotes says “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. This is the doctrine of university education, all this while we were ‘fed’ knowledge during school days; however in university we were taught how to use the knowledge for lifetime.
This is the place I realize I will be coached till the finishing line with the right techniques to run.
Therefore in conclusion, if I was asked “do you believe that university education will make you a successful person?” I would definitely answer “why not?”

Honestly, the main reason why I am here in Uniten is to fulfill my parent’s hope which is to see I am success in my life. Even though Uniten was not my choice but I am really thankful to be in the university and actually I have learn lots of experience here. For me, to be success in life is not just about getting great university education, this is because in reality, the obstacles to success are much harder. However, I am strongly agreed that university education is a ticket to success. With proper education, it will prepare us with the right knowledge, mentality and personality to be on the right path to success in the future.
With regard of its location which is very near to my house and being the one that could offer me the course which I’m interested in, UNITEN became my prior choice. And now, I’m grateful enough to further my studies here since I’ve managed to gather quite extensive amount of priceless knowledge and experience. But, the question here, do I believe that university education will make me a successful person?
Of course I do, else, I won’t be pursuing my studies here. Being in this current era, getting a good job to offer us a secured financial success depends much on our qualifications. Most hiring company set a benchmark for us to have at least a diploma in certain field in order for us to work with them. It’s something that could help us establish ourselves especially the skills that we possessed.
Having said all these, I’m not pointing that people without a university education could not succeed, if they put in their effort and have the desire and will to succeed despite all the ups and down they have to endeavor, without doubt, they will succeed. Even with good qualifications, one can never climb on top of the mountain without having a strong will, determination and effort. If we want to succeed, we must dare to fall and be brave to climb back up, after all, success comes to those who will and dare.
UNITEN is the best university and it has its own quality compared to other university and that why i'm choosing UNITEN to continue my studies and get my degree.
and i'm believe that university education will make me a successful person because as for myself, i'm not good enough in my secondary school but i'm trying my best while i'm in university to get an excellent cgpa to be a good student. and i also believe that not all person success in their school will success in university and vice versa. so, it depends on the student itself, if they are able to follow the study patterns of university education,then they can deserve a success but if not, the university education will not make them a successful person.
I'm here at Uniten because i want to be a part of success. I know that i not very good in academic but i know if i never try, i will never get what i want. I quite sure Uniten will us the best. Uniten offers a lot of programs for international students. I got the good opportunity by one of these programs to continue study here and get two diplomas at once (one from IITU, KZ and another one from UNITEN, MY).
There were many doubts in the beginning but now I'm very happy that I'm here. Because, first of all, I like Malaysia, this country impresses me every time. And secondly, of course, this is my ticket for successful career.
I wish all my hopes regarding Uniten will become true.

Besides that, Rasulullah s.a.w stated that "study while you can though to the china nations". Basically, education such reading and writing will get you somewhere, but not everywhere. Success can be general. why ? because everything we done and make us happy, it could be consider as a success too. am i right ? everyone has their own way to be success either in a hard way or easy way but, the most important is, it can make us feel happy and satisfied with it, also make our efforts worth. Lets focus on the question. 'Why am i here, in Uniten? " generally, university is a place for school leavers after getting their good result in SPM ( in Malaysia) . Before i entering the Uniten, i do received offer letter from other universities and at one time i need to choose only one. so i decided to go for Uniten instead of others. i chose Uniten because i know Uniten its a private university and highly chane to get employ in workfield. okay straight to the point.
