Weekend Getaway at Cyberview Lodge Resort

It's so near our humble abode, yet we only got the chance to enjoy a holiday at Cyberview Lodge Resort recently while celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. Gorgeous tropical beauty with lush greenery!

So, what's great about it? hmm...almost everything in the package...the pool view chalet...the food...and best of all is the swimming pool!!!

It's not like any ordinary swimming pool! With two beautiful man-made waterfalls cascading into it, complete with exotic plants and garden palms around, swimming becomes a total experience. It reminds me of those unforgettable trips to village waterfalls and rivers...fantabulous! Special thanks to my beloved husband for a wonderful holiday inspiration. In fact, he has been thinking about a holiday there all this while, especially everytime he passed by the place on his way to work...

Cyberview lodge shall remain our favourite family destination for a long, long time.
Hmmm..on this note, you should tell us about your favourite hotel, motel, resort, lodge, hostel, homestay. This may be a good opportunity to practice your persuasive skills... so, get your findings and share it with us on this blogosphere!

Al-salam Aliqum
Dear ma'am:

Every time you provide us with new clue that show up how to spend our special times with our families.
Make trips is one of these ways that can make our days precious.
I remembered each time we made a trip, reminded us how beautiful time we had.
In addition the new experience we had had it from that time.
Some of families consider it waste time and money.
However families need a wonderful time, to keep each other close and facing difficulties in life.
Finally, these times as much as important for families, we shall have a concentration on it.

I'm tired with all the chemistry revision I have to do before my Test.
So I went online and saw the new blog post and it is non other then going on a Holiday.

Seemly University life is just so cramp up, holiday sounds like a never happening thing.
But let me tell you, there are some awesome places in Malaysia that we can do a road trip in just ONE DAY!

There are actually alot of places in mind...but I really want to draw your attention to Penang.
Penang is a Malaysian island that is often overlooked due to its superstar West Coast cousins.

The ‘Pearl of the Orient’ is the home to more than it's fair share of sightseeing attractions.
This tourist attraction is mainly a mixture of Chinese and British culture due to its influence in the past during world war.

One of the main attractions here is the Khoo Kongsi. This is actually a clan house from a ethnic Chinese from the Khoo family which is used as a temple.
It has various colourful designs on its walls.

After admiring History, the Botanical Garden is a fav for nature lovers and a place to release everyone's burden.
This garden is a great place for photography. The greens just calms hearths.

After the long walk and sightseeing, I bet you guys will be hungry. So the next place that is Awesome is non other then China town!
Chinese cuisines, traditional dances, cultures and chinese pple can be seen here. Haha.
Not to be worried, there is one part of china town in which they sells halal food. This is what i call 1 Malaysia!

And to round off, you can do all this in just half the day.
If you plan to overnight in Penang, there are many hotels in the places i mentioned that suits everyone's taste.

So what are you waiting for?
Get your family and friends to Penang to enjoy a day of excitement and relaxation .

One of the tourist attraction in Johor is definitely the Air Panas Waterfall or some people known as Ledang Waterfall, which was located at Ledang. The entrance fee for Ledang Waterfall is RM 2 per car and RM 1 per passenger only after the park was privatized. If you wish to come by car, get out at Plus Tangkak interchange and drive along to Segamat direction and the junction to waterfall is about 5 Km after a small town, Sagil. It’s then a one km-plus walk through the plantation to the bottom of the falls. I still remember that the last time I went there was last year June and I had climbed up the mountain with my secondary school friends. The expediton journey takes about 5 to 6 hours for any good stamina climber.
Gunung Ledang, formerly know as Mount Ophir is with a height of 1276 m is the highest mountain in Johor. There are many legends about the Princess, in Malay we called Puteri, of Gunung Ledang. The Puteri Fall is named after this legendary Princess. The fall is located on the lower slopes of the mountain which are easily accessible by a cemented walkway.
The place attracts a big crowd, especially during weekends and public holidays. Nice swimming pools and picnic sites in a surrounding of imposing and lushing green tropical forest. The Puteri Fall itself which is about 60 m tall is more a cascade. As the cascade is curved, it is not really possible to get a complete view of it. At the top of the cascade there is another small fall, with a nice swimming pool. Don’t expect to be alone here during a weekend! The cemented walkway ends here, and the real climbing of the mountains starts.
The falls here are a lot nicer than those at Kota Tinggi and they stretch along the mountain-side up to Twin Fall at 1900 ft elevation. Twin Fall is a beautiful and 100-150ft vertical waterfall along the trail to the top.
If you are too tired to drive back after your 5 to 6 hours of "extreme exercise", the luxury resort here, Gunung Ledang resort, will welcome you all the time with the reasonable room rate from RM 150++ and upwards. You can also choose to rent a camping site to set up your camp for a night.
In a nutshell, if you decided to take a break, relax yourself and have some fun at the same time, obviously your choice will be Ledang Waterfall. Give it a try, unless you won't know it!

Basically, I only remembers my trip to Pulau Langkawi(PL) few years back although I went to quite a number of places. This is when it is a 4 days 3 nights trip where my family and I sleep over a rent house RM200 per day. It's located nearby the town but needs to travel quite a distance, and the days started with joys and excitements. On, the first day itself, we departed from Kedah and reached PL around the evening and checked in and had our dinner at nearby Thai's Restaurant. It serves an aromatic spices and delicious dishes and quite affordable. The next day, we went to nearby beach (forgotten the name) went for snorkeling, it shown a really fantastic view on aquatic livings. The snorkeling packages includes to bringing us to a beautiful islands, bat's cave and see the eagles live in front! Then, we went to the famous cable car in PL which is the highest in Asia (if not mistaken), the view is fascinating. Really good to feel the wind up there and a must place to go! Also, we went to the Eagle statue at night with lights and it was great. The following day, we went to waterfalls, which PL have 7 famous waterfalls, unfortunately we went only one of it and it is really beautiful. Next, we went to shop in the tax-free island and got our bags filled. That's all of my remembering for the trip but there's more to explore there that my family and I just couldn't spend anymore time. There's really interesting and unique places in PL that we couldn't enjoy and yes definitely I would choose to visit there once again if given another chance. Therefore, PL definitely is a place to be considerable as a location for trip!

If you're thinking about visiting a tourist attraction in malaysia, what about the A'Famosa? The A'Famosa is a Portuguese fortress located in Mallacca. The Porta de Santiago, a small gate house, is the only remaining part of the fortress still standing. It is among the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. Tourists who are interested in visiting this historical site can stay at the A'Famosa Resort during their stay. Among the facilities available at the resort are the animal world, water world, golf resort and cowboy town. Furthermore, there is also a microlight flying club. A microlight is a light-weight, 1 or 2-person airplane. Needless to say, the experience of flying in a microlight is an out of this world experience. In conclusion, a visit to A'Famosa promises to be a fantastic vacation for history lovers as well as people who want to have fun.

Er... I don't travel much. So there's not much place I know. Plus I'm the "indoor" kind of person, so there's really a headache for me when asked to promote about some place. Anyway, I've been to Kota Kinabalu before when I was 12. So i'll just share what we can do over there. Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah state. It's famous with the Kota Kinabalu mountain and many small islands near the shore. The place I am going to promote is the Kota Kinabalu mountain.
The very first thing you can do there, is definitely to climb the mountain. Well, its good to have a try. Because if you manage to reach the top, you will receive a colorful certificate which shows that you are one of the conquerer of the mountain! However in order to climb it, you have to register one year before that. Its because the name list of registry is just too long and you have to wait for about one year to reach your turn after the registry!
Other than mountain climbing, there's also a natural spa center somewhere at the mountain side. The spa is useful for relaxing our mind and body. Just like doing meditation. There's also a nature park near the spa center, where you can have a try to take a walk on the tree bridge, which is about 60 meters above the ground.
Furthermore, you can also buy some souvenir on the way back from the mountain. There's a small village along the road half way to the spa center which sells a lot of interesting stuff made by the local people.
And if I not mistaken, there's also a flower park around there. There are up to 50+ of different species of flower for you to learn about them.

So that's all about the things I remember about Mountain Kinabalu.(since it was really long time ago when i last travel there.) Hope it will give you interest to travel there.

when i read this...it just reminded myself that i really need a break and to chill out!!

It has been a long long time since i have been on a holiday trip since my parents are busy all the time and i got no time to spare during my uniten days..So i will really try hard to remember which hotel or resort i have been to.

Let me start off with..have you ever seen how the 'white man' enjoy their holiday?Well I'm certainly very impressed with how they enjoy it.Let me just explain shortly.it all coming from this particular resort that me and my family were there sometime around 2006?Like i said i don't get much holidays but i do cherish every minute i had with it.

Hilton Hotel (not sure bout the branch name but it's right behind KL sentral). It was one of the most amazing experience i ever had on that hotel.Firstly the rooms were awesome...talking bout having a small screen tv in your toilet!!come on , thats gotta be a Wow factor right?Everything was down to earth classy and the scenery was breathtaking.Remember what i said bout the white guys? ok here's the story.Malaysian way of holiday is like SHOP , SHOP , SHOP and DROP.I'm not trying to be stereotype but we all know who does the spending right? So , me and dad did not follow my mum and my sisters as they were all out for shopping. My dad always reminds me of how we all should follow the white guy's term of holiday. It all came clear when we went to the swimming pool. The best part was , I tot the swimming pool was at the ground floor.Correction , it was at the roof top.Talking about classy. So the hotel was so cool having a swimming pool at the roof top and the swimming pool is actually connects the two buildings together.Correct me if i'm wrong. But imagine swimming at the top of Kl..Well ,sort of.So , here's the thing , when we got there I saw only foreigners there. Some were laying back sunbathing , swimming , and some are just laying back with a cold beverage on their hand.So that explains on what my dad always say.In my honest opinion , that should be the way on how we should enjoy the holiday . Carelessly sleeping on the couch thinking of nothing and just take their mind of everything they left behind.

Am i talking out of topic?thus , the hotel was really superb . The restaurant has all! From sushi , steak , nasi lemak , and every food you could think of.I really had a great time over there although it was onli for 1 night but it was all worth it.I rate this hotel 11/10 in my list.

A Holiday trip? Great!

Uni life is tiring yet packed up with activities!~ Tests, Quizzes, Exams etc. etc. etc. YET we never heard of anyone mentioned 'holiday trip'!

I'm not an often traveller and I couldn't think of any place better than my hometown. Raintown, Taiping.

It is a place where love grows. It has simply 33 FIRST thing in history of Malaysia.
Port Weld - First train station in M'sia
Post Office - First one as well.
Night safari - First night safari in Msia.
Etc etc etc.

Too many to mention. And most of all, its the Taiping Lake Garden!
At first, I thought it is just an ordinary lake that many places would have such a view until my friend from the other place went here. The look they gave me on the face is just.. 'unbelievable' ! They fell in love to the view in their first sight. Every of my friends said the same thing though they are from different place:"This is SOOOOOOOO Beautiful!"
Yeah. The Rain trees, the Lakes, the greenery, the scenery makes everything in the area perfect.

Secondly, after visiting the nice view of Lake Garden, you can go to Zoo Taiping! It's just ten minutes walk from lake garden. Zoo Taiping is always occupied by visitors especially weekends! (I don't know why) Might be their hometown don't have one. Many people from outstation stop off and go in with their family. Then, take another five minutes drive from Zoo Taiping and you'll see Taiping's Museum together with the first Jail in Malaysia.

After visiting lake garden, zoo and museum, it'll be around afternoon if everything starts in the morning. Everyone will be crying for food right? Take another five to seven minutes drive to a place where Taipingites' called 'Larut Matang' or the Cashier Market. A variety of food are being offered there. Malay food, Indian food, Chinese food, just give a name and it will be served.

After having meal, you can go visit the Market just few lots beside. First market in Malaysia as well. Take some photos about the buildings. The market is FREE of lights, which means, the whole lot of market NEVER use any single light bulbs or lamps although the whole building is covered up by roof. This is because the Britain used law of relection to make the building independent to light. It is not hot as well because the setting of the market is designed according to the wind direction too, by the britain as well. Interesting right?

After the visitings, it might be around 3pm plus. Let's go for shopping~! Ten minutes drive to Tesco and get some food and drinks! Raw ones. Finish up everything at around 4pm.

Now, we will go to our last destination, Bukit Larut. You can enjoy the feel of jungle hiking, if you want to try to short cut to Bukit Larut's 2nd pit stop. If you don't, you can climb up according to the road built. By the time of 5~6pm, take a Jeep up to the top of the hill. You can stay overnight in a bungalow there. You can take out your food bought and start BBQ-ing while enjoying the night view of Taiping.

That's the end of one day. The next day, you can start exploring areas around Taiping, such as Kuala Sepetang - The fishing village, Port Weld Train Station, etc etc.

So, if you want to try a taste of nature-friendly town or a relaxing-town where cars are much more lesser compared to KL, or a town where stress is merely seen, come to Raintown, Taiping! =)

To be honest, i seldom travel around Malaysia since my parents are all busy in their working. Only few places that i have been before like Cameron Highland, Genting Highland, Pinang and etc. But the place that i would like to introduce is still my hometown, Taiping. Taiping is actually a wonderful place to stay at although it is quite boring and don't have many luxurious entertainment. But it is plenty of greenary that ease our eyes and make us feel comfortable. Besides, it is a place for us to escape for hectic life such as KL life as we will not get trapped in a traffic jam. One of the tourist spots in Taiping is the Lake Garden. Before it turns into a cooling, comfortable and relaxing place, it was a mining site when British colony. The Lake Garden often attract natural lover as it is really beautiful. It surrounded by many hundred-years-old trees. The trees that are planted at the opposite road grow towards the lake direction as like it want to "drink" water. So when we drive around the lake,we will feel like driving in a tunnel that made by trees. It is really amazing! Besides that, Taiping Zoo is another famous tourist spot. It is one of the largest zoo in Malaysia. Alot of animals we can see inside this zoo such as rhino, hippo, sumetra tiger and etc. It is actually a good place to visit as a family gathering. Maxwell hill is another famous tourist spot in Taiping. It is also a nice place to visit for those natural lovers. Along the way we climb up the hill, we can see alot of different species of plants and some insects. If you feel lazy to climb up, you can go up there by jeep.
Taiping is really a good place for us to relax ourself after a long time of study or working. Pay a visit to Taiping and you will definitely reluctant to go back to your hectic life style~

Talking about travels and holiday trips, I would like to recommend you Langkawi Island as your next destination. Departed from the jetty of Kuala Kedah, it takes about one and a half hour of ferry trip to reach the island.

Far away from the hustle and bustle of city, Langkawi Island has a lot of clean and beautiful beaches, including the famous Cenang Beach and Beringin Beach. These beaches have crystal clear water combined with white powderly sandy beach, making it ideal for various activities, such as snorkeling, jet-skiing and even sailing.

Besides that, the Underwater World Langkawi, which is known as the aquarium in Malaysia is located near Cenang Beach. In Underwater World Langkawi, we are able to have a close look with the living sea creatures, such as sharks, sting rays, turtles and much more through the glass. The rare species of sea creatures are also be displayed, such as clown fish, lobsters, starfish, seahorse and lots more. There is also a section which allowing the public to touch the sea creature, including the starfish and the turtles.

Being a duty free island, shopping is a must do activity in Langkawi. There is a lot of shopping complexs located around the capital of Langkawi, Kuah City. Thousands of duty free goods, including cloths, handbags, perfumes, chocolates and even electronic appliances are sold at a low price. This makes Langkawi Island to be a heaven for the shopaholics.

There are still a lot more of interesting attractions in Langkawi Island to be discovered. Do pay a visit to the island if you have the chance and I am sure that you won't regret of doing so!

This was based on my experience in Pacific Regency Hotel. Checking in one late evening on my holiday, I saw quite a number of people waiting in line. The receptionist enquired if I had a reservation, and upon receiving an affirmative answer said, “please have seat, sir and we’ll process your reservation immediately.”
And I was whisked to my room after 10 minutes .Later, I found out that he hotel was 100% occupied that weekend. However, to their credit, at no point did I find the service lacking. It was impeccable, in fact from their housekeeping to their F&B staff to the front desk. I stayed at a suite, the size of which took my breath away. As did the view. A huge living room and a decent size dining room and a big kitchen were all part of the set-up. I had to turn a corner before the large bedroom came into view.
I was even more stunned when in saw the bathroom, which had a long bath and a shower and still room enough left to throw a party in. No wonder the hotel has proven to be popular venue for groups that want to have private parties in the suites. Apparently, all the rooms in the hotel are spacious and come with big bathrooms. Pacific Regency also has excellent restaurants. Their Soi 23 Thai restaurant has great items in menu.My final word would be Pacific Regency the best.

i had visited many places in Malaysia and the most place i like it is Langkawi island

Langkawi isn't just one big island, but a collection of around 100 islands . While most are uninhabited, a few have been designated for tourism so that visitors from all over the world can admire and appreciate the magical beauty of Langkawi. this island Surrounded by stunning turquoise sea, the interior of the main island is a mixture of picturesque paddy fields and jungle-clad hills. The island is especially recognised for its excellent diving opportunities and this tropical gem hides a treasure trove of other exciting holiday opportunities. There are many island tours available from operators to get you started. Note that most tours do not operate during the monsoon season from July to September because the seas become choppy and potentially dangerous.

Instead of randomly roaming around Langkawi, why not let me plan your trip that will allow you to see the most in the best time possible.

* but if you gays are really really interest to go some where near from UNITEN? i can invite all of you to the best place which i live in now is Candekawan. There are many trees around it .Some time you can watch some caws playing and running behind Candekawan . Also there is a wonderful small lake near from it and you can do some exercise like walking around it and we can do a BBQ . hahahahaha

Good afternoon Puan Zue,

Sorry for the late reply,it was my mistake not to check the my e-mail account earlier as I was quite busy during the weekends.

I agree with you that time fly’s and the 3rd semester is almost done.Well Puan Zue,let me get straight to the point,if there was a place where I would spend my holiday’s,it would be the A’Famosa resort which is located at Alor Gajah. The first time I went there,I thought I found the true meaning of the term “PARADISE”.The moment you place your foot at the entrance of the resort, there is a gush of wind breezing true your face and you smell the fresh air running through you’re nostrils. This particular place is more like a city than a resort. You have got tons of things to do and take part in.For instance, there’s a cowboy ranch which is open till like 4 to 5 in the morning,a golf course, and even a zoo. This show’s you how big this place is and excitement is at every corner of this resort. Moreover, there is also a go-kart track and they also have games like paintball competiton and also archery.Besides that,if you just want to relax and enjoy the green that exist in this world,we can rent out a private bungalow as there are a stream line of them in this resort.

Now this is where my tale of experience come’s into place. My family and I usually come up to this resort yearly and yet we can’t get enough of it.We would always rent one of the private bungalows that I mentioned above. We would usually go there during the Christmas holiday’s and there would be like 20 to 30 of us which actually shows you that my family is actually quite big.We would usually stay there for like 2 to 3 days and trust me,you can have a lot of fun with such little time.We would usually jump straight into the swimming pool when we reach the the bungalow as it has it’s own private swimming pool’s.We would spend like hour’s in the pool and then would savour ourselves to a barbeque dinner which we of course cooked. The great think about the resort is that everyday without fail, there would be a firework show at around 10 p.m.My family and I would always sit down and just enjoy the beautiful colours that lights up the sky during this period of time.
On the 2nd and 3rd day,we would usually take a strool around the resort and even visit the zoo but we would spend most of our time just hanging out at the bungalow and enjoying the comfort of our family.

When I use the term holiday Puan Zue,I mean in a sense of spending time with you’re family and catching up on old times when you didn’t have the chance too.going on a holiday is fun but spending time with you’re family is like a pearl in a black sea.Family is what keeps the term holiday alive and without it,we are nothing but just grass that grows on the side of a highway.Going on a holiday is fun but going on a holiday with you’re family is like taking a cruise to the gates of heaven.

Thank you Puan Zue for taking the initiative to read my comment and I hope that you enjoyed reading my text about my experience at the A’Famosa resort.

Your’s Sincerely,

Pavendhran

Wow! Everyone's hotel seem to have their own ways of persuading people...I already feel to go all those places once the next holiday starts ! I dont travel much, but when i do, they become very memorable visits.
One may think that the places we visit matters the most, when we go for a vacation. However we should never underestimate the role of accommodation in a holiday.

Recently, i went to Penang, to break out from the norms of daily routines, with my family. I stayed in a hotel named Bayview Hotel & Resorts. Reservation was made just a month before the actual day. However it was filling fast even when it wasn't peak season. One of the main reason, why i chosed Bayview was due to it's reasonable pricing. With a rate of only RM 200++ per night, Bayview was the cheapest yet recognise hotel available online.
First time into the hotel, i did not had high expectations. However, as soon as i step foot in the lavish lobby of the hotel, and greeted kindly by the worker at the door(who was a cute girl), i was in awe. Checking-in was so fast that i didnt realise that the staff handing over the room keys to me. The room service guy later recommended a restaurant in the hotel, as it was already time. The food in the restaurant, was just mouth-watering. Ther broshure of the hotel, told us about a revolving resataurant in the hotel which is actually located at the highest floor of the hotel. Havin dinner at the top of the hotel, with a fantastic view of Penang is just awesome. And i forgot to mention one important fact about this hotel. It is located exactly at sea side. What else would one want. One thing disappointed me, I couldnt see any swimming pool. So, i jokingly said to the counter guy, " You should have a swimming pool". That guy looked at me and smiled. He said, there is actualy a swimming pool at the 4th floor. I was a little ashamed, but excited too. The next thing i knew, i was in the swimming pool. After that it was late night and i was feeling bored. I opened the window and looked at the back of the hotel. I realised, the hotel is located exactly beside a happening Penang, night attraction. There was a row of clubs there. The moment i thought things could not get better, it did. The hotel also had a spa. That's the best place to go to after a long time traveling around Penang.
Bayview hotel gave b=me my best holiday experience. In a way, if i had not stayed in Bayview, i wouldnt have, gone for a spa, have a spectacular view of penang from the rotating restaurant, have a delicious couysine of Malaysian food, and I would have definitely missed the best Penang has to offer. Now its in your hands if you want to enjoy your holidays, as I did !

Throughout my life, I've been to many places in Malaysia for a vacation. But truly, there's only 1 place in Malaysia which i really enjoyed most, and that's Sipadan Island, Borneo, Sabah.

Firstly, Sipadan was closed down to tourist few years back before i went, due to pirate incidents. But thank God, when my mom made plans to go there, it was open for public!

The sand around the island was as smooth and it was as white as paper. The beaches were well preserved as there were no rubbish or plastic bags or bottles there. It was well taken care off. Besides that, the sea water was so clear, you could see tiny little fishes just swimming by the shallow parts of the beach.

Sipadan Island, allows tourist to go snorkeling. The guide will bring it's passengers to nearby hot spots or small islands where exist many untainted coral inhabitant areas. And to my surprised.. the number and variety of fishes that i saw was so many and so many different colourful fishes all swimming together in schools. It was an amazing sight.

In addition, on Sipadan Island, in the seas of Sipadan, there's a "clift" where the ground just suddenly disappears into the sea. It goes way deep down where even i couldnt see to the bottom. It's safe to say that, even sunlight doesnt reach there also. But in that area, many fishes can be seen. My uncle who went deep into that part of Sipadan said that he saw a Green Turtle! In addition, my dad and I even saw a baby shark just not far from the beach while we were snorkeling.

Lastly, my trip to sipadan was a memorable one. If possible, i would like to visit there once more again. Everything there was, fantastic and it was the best Island and the best view of coral and fishes I've ever seen till today.

Thank You,

Holiday trip?! WOOHOO!! Thumbs up!!
Everyone get excited when heard that there is a holiday trip since this is the chance we relax and have fun with friends and family.

The best place I had ever been visit definitely is Eagle Ranch Resort(ERR). ERR is located at the 14th mile of Jalan Pantai in Port Dickson(my hometown). The slogan or motto of ERR is Experience the Exciting Eagle Escape, sounds cool right? Well,it means that ERR is a place where you escape from reality and ride on the wings of American mid-western fantasy of swash-buckling cowboys, galloping horses, and adapted to warmth of Malaysian.

The 1st thing that impressed me about ERR is their unique concepts of accommodation which is to ignite the realities of life in the 'world of cowboys'. There are log cabins, kampung houses, Paddock chalets, bandwagons and red indian tepees. These accommodation are equipped with television,refrigerator,air-con and fan. In overall, the modern equipments make us comfortable while the concepts make us feel like get back to nature.I love it so much!!!

There are many sports and recreation activities provided at Eagle Ranch Resort that fit into the era of cowboys such as horse riding, beach volleyball, canoeing, paint-ball, sea rafting, flying fox, go kart and etc. Horse riding and go kart are the activities that I enjoyed the most, it was really fantastic.

The Watering Hole is a restaurant that has an interior design of the cowboys town in the olden days.It serves Malaysian and Western cuisine. It is also nice to have a drink at the Watering Hole bar after enjoy yourself in a variety of sports and recreational activities.

Another highlight of Eagle Ranch Resort is the team building programmes. When I was form 3, my school organize a trip to ERR for this team building programmes. At there, we learn sea crafting which needs the cooperate of all the people on the craft. If we don't have teamwork, the craft either will not move or it will become unbalance and overturn. We also participated in the rope course and obstacle course. These two courses are quiet interesting as when you face any problems during the courses, you can found out that there are actually many people encourage you behind your back. Through the programmes, we also can learn about the leadership and motivate ourselves.

So,what are you waiting for? It is not enough to just listen my experience and explanation. You have to go and try it out yourself.Let's say 'Eagle Ranch Resort, here I come!' :)

“Hurray’,’yahoo’,’enjoy’….These are the words will be running in my mind whenever I hear the word holiday,,and staying in hotels or resorts for holiday vacation.Wow,Superb!!It’s kinda exciting when stay in a hotel or resorts.I enjoy it.And of course,as a university student,I’d feel even better when going for a holiday vacation because this is the way I release my tension and get a relief from all the pressures after the head-cracking exam weeks. My dad is a busy man and he has no time to bring my family to any places. But we have been to several places. The best vacation I had ever in my life is at Pulau Pangkor. Eventhough the place is stinky with its “ikan bilis”, it is a nice place to be visited. The guide at Pulau Pangkor suggested us a best resort “Puteri Bayu Beach Resort”.Five minutes drive from the jetty.Far from the busy town, vehicle’s noise and also the “stinks”.We took a deluxe room for 2 days and 1 nite.It costs below RM 100,and this price is for holiday vacation package.Besides it’s cheaper price, there was a lot of food varieties.Eventhough the food prices are expensive, because of taxes, they’re much delicious. The facilities provided in the resort did satisfied me.Especially the wireless internet service which ease me to login facebook. And yes,I did spend most of my time in swimming pool. I and my brother enjoyed playing futsal and badminton at the courts in the resort.I’m sure there will be no any negative comments for the facilities at the resorts such as room service, sports center and many more.Since the resort is located at beachside,we had a chance to watch and snap photos of the sunset. We checked out from the room at 12 noon. The resort management provided us the transport service from the resort to the jetty.Overall, the resort is very suitable for us to stay in Pulau Pangkor because of their cheaper price, facilities and of course for the nice beachside view……

holiday for me act as an exit door. it shows me the way out of my miserable life. externally, my life seems nothing gone wrong but inside, only God knows. well, i actually have less time to travel.

but i would like to recommend all of u to this one special place.it is called, Broga Hill.well, most of people might had went there and found nothing good there. but for me, it gives me a lot. just imagine, u had a bored weekends. just spend 1 early morning of your day to watch sunrise on top of a hill. it such a great view to watch. to climb uphill, it cost u only 1 hour of tiredness. at the peak, u will get all the natural breeze, touching ur skin that next u actually can feel it at your bones.such a wonderful feeling. while waiting for sunrise, u can have ur prayer (for Muslim) on top of the hill. it is not something u can do everyday. u get a cool fresh air, inhaled early in the morning..
isn't it good for your health?

well, maybe for some of us doesn't like to spend their time climb uphill to get all those but for me, it such a temptation for me to have a nice scenery to let loose all my gloomy heart. if u can't find a way, u should try and i really sure it actually helps a lot...

If you ask me where is the best place to enjoy a holiday, I will say Pangkor Island is the best choice.

Pangkor island is located off the west coast of the state of Perak. It has everything that an ideal island has to offer. One can see the long stretches of golden beaches in many parts of the island and the popular ones are Pasir Bogak Beach, Golden Sands Beach or Pantai Puteri Dewi and Teluk Nipah. Pangkor is still unspoilt in that the pace of development is still slow compared to other islands in Malaysia.

You will be able to see fishermen going out to the sea to make a living as the majority of them are fishermen. Most of them stayed in the small towns of Sungai Pinang Kecil and Sungai Pinang Besar. In fact, one can even venture into their small factories to see how they process their catch of the day as well as buying some of the processed food.

The town of Lumut is the gateway to Pangkor Island. The jetty and its surrounding was recently renovated and is now ready to receive tourists that will be coming in throngs to enjoy the beauty of this island. It takes approximately 35 to 40 minutes to get to the island from Lumut Jetty. If you are driving to Lumut, there are plenty of private overnight car parks that you can safely park your car. It also has a beautiful waterfront facilities such as restrooms, souvenir shops, viewing platform and playground for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

There are many chalets, motels and hotels of different pricing and categories to cater for the needs of the visitors. Most of the bigger hotels are built along the beachfront that offer you a splendid view of the sea. The 4 and 5 star hotels that one can stay are Pangkor Island Beach Resort which is located along Teluk Belanga Beach. Other budget hotels amongsts others include Sea View hotel, Khoo Holiday Resort and Sri Bayu Beach Resort.

You can explore the many attractions of the island by renting a car, a motorcycle or a bicycle. For those who are not on tight budget, it is very convenient to take taxi as there are many taxis on the island. You can even negotiate with the taxi driver to take you around the island for a fee and he will surely be glad to provide this service for you.

Pangkor Island is really a good place that you can feel and experience the fisherman life style and you can have a relaxing time here. You will feel no stress at here, and you can spend your time with your lovely family. It is worth to enjoy holiday here. So, what are you waiting for? Check your free time and come here for a wonderful holiday.

Holiday is a perfect getaway from all the stress and tense. It is great for anyone to escape from pile of works and tons of problem. Its been a long time since my last holiday with my family. During last year's summer, i went to europe with my family. When people from the europe were busy heading to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, we did the other way. We went to London, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Budapest, Prague and Venice. The environment there was very nice. It was totally different from what you can see here.

My main attraction was Venice, Italy. We travelled from Vienna, Austria to Venice since my aunt and her family lived in Vienna. From Vienna, we rent a minivan since Austria borders 8 countries- Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Republic Czech, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary and Liechestien. It tooks 6 hours as the distance is around 600km. As soon as we arrived there, there was only one word to describe Venice, 'fantastic'. The scenery was soo beautiful Everything is about water transportation. From taxis, ambulance and even the police patrol.

As we travel, i get to know different cultures from different countries. In France, youre not allowed to speak in English because french people hate english soo much. And in Amsterdam, smoking marijuana is legal there. Its a normal thing to do where you can see in the parks, cafes and pubs. The kind of thing you will be jailed in Malaysia for doing the same thing. People there are very open minded. Along the street, you will find 'gay and lesbian booths' that provide information about tourist attraction for those kind of people. When youre in Munich, do be shocked to hear the people shouting and yelling at you in an offensive way because Germany people are very rough indeed. Unlike the eastern culture where the people are nice and polite.

Since my aunt is working in Vienna, she said that the government tax is about 50 percent of your salary, which is very very high. But in return, the government provides your family with good education and medical needs. A pregnant woman Austria received a year of maternity leave and your salary and her salary will still be given.

Back to the topic, in Manchester, we went to the Old Trafford, home of Machester United Football Club. As you entered the stadium, the feeling was undescribable. The atmosphere was breathtaking. The funny thing was, during our flight home from the Heathrow airport, i was arrested and brought to a security room where i was forced to remove my clothes and let my body scanned for any suspicious drugs. The reason was because i was wearing brazillian football team jersey and because of the looks too - malays do look the same as the mexican and brazillian, where these 2 countries are top in drug trafickking.

In conclusion, going holiday with your family is the best thing to do. Get yourself geared up and enjoy the God's creation.

Assalamualaikum Pn Zue..
Okay,i’m gonna share my experience during my holiday with my friends in Singapore,a neighbourhood of my country.
I have heard much about the beauty of Singapore, one of four remaining true city-states in the world and one of the most famous cities in Asia. It is the smallest nation in Southeast Asia that is made by many wonderful islands. Last summer, I and my friends decided to visit Singapore, the Lion Island.
Singapore, a small island, lies at the southern and of West Malaysia. A long and narrow piece of land joins Singapore with Johore Hahru, the southern-most town of West Malaysia. Singapore is now an independent state.
The city of Singapore is extremely beautiful. It is well known for its centers of business and other activities. There are many places of interest, such as, the Tiger Balm Garden, the Botanical Gardens and Raffles Museum. There are also many important centers of learning such as the University of Singapore, Science Centre, the Nanyang University and the Polytechnic. Being a famous city, hundreds of people come every day from various parts of the world to do business or to enjoy the sights of the city. Singapore therefore has large and beautiful airports and its harbors are full of ships.
There are many night schools where people who cannot go to the day schools for some reason or other can continue their studies. And, the government of Singapore is still doing its best to make further improvements in the city for the benefit of the people. During my stay in Singapore, I went out every day with my friends to see the beautiful and interesting places and things in the city. One day we went to the Tiger Balm Garden where I saw several statues of people, animals and other strange creature beautifully made and kept. The sea near this garden makes it a pleasant place to visit. We spent almost half of the day at this place.
Another day we visited the museum where I saw hundreds of curious things preserved for scholars and others. It was indeed an education to see all those things. There is so much to learn here that every visit by any person is sure to add to his knowledge. I also visited some of the harbors and saw the large ships anchored there. The sight of the ships aroused a desire in me to cross the oceans and go round the world. I was indeed deeply impressed by activities at the harbor. Then every night, I went round the town and visited some of the parks and other places of interest. The numerous lights and the constant stream of traffic kept the city alive. I visited a few of the cinemas as well. In short, I enjoyed every moment of my stay in this famous city of Singapore.
This trip gave us some experiences about Singapore, a neighborhood of my country. I took many pictures everywhere I came. It is helpful for young people like me, who want to travel around the world to study more about the cultural of different countries.
Thank you.

It's been exceptionally long since I've been to anywhere. I've always hated the idea of traveling. Especially if all you have is a van to carry 7 overweight people for an astonishing 200km. Okay maybe I'm exaggerating, but still. I hate traveling.

So if i am to pull out ANYTHING from my shallow pool of experiences, i think it would be the trip to Legend hotel Cherating. To be honest, all i did there was lie down on the beach the whole day, and no i didn't like the aftereffects but the white sandy beach and the cool beach breeze was too much to resist.

I know cherating isn't just about the beach, but in reality, that's the only reason that attracted me. And hey, what's a vacation if you're not relaxing?

The facilities were all there at the hotel but as i said again and again. The beach was the main attraction and it sucked me in like a black hole. The hotel pool, arcade, buffet dinners and game centers did nothing to distract me. The room was air-conditioned and pretty clean and decent. but at night we opened the glass door cause the sea breeze was blowing and the air conditioning was no match for mother nature.

Hence, GO TO CHERATING FOR THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH!!!!!!!!

Agreed indeed, holidays are thrilling and exciting. The travel I envied most was Tariq's Europe tour, as I never had the chance to do so. My family and I are a perfect travel enthusiast, we managed to make a UK tour and went all around from Scotland, all the way to Coventry, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Dublin. The memories are still fresh and the experience to share is embracing. As I read the vacation stories down the post, about Singapore, Pangkor Island, A Famosa, Langkawi and random places around Europe, I can say that it is always about the visits and tourism activities that seems so 'been there, done that'. Every bit of experience to share would be almost the same.

The idea of traveling is gaining something new and creating the momentum to visit there for the second or third time, and it will never get boring. What I would actually do each and every year after going once last year is going to Kg Rudan, Padawan, Sarawak.
Sarawak? I admit, Sarawak would not be a popular choice for anyone. I myself, never had the thought of Sarawak, but the memories there never fade and until now I can smell the air and feel the breeze of my home stay in Sarawak. It happened last year, where my friends and I volunteered to teach students in Kg Rudan, Sarawak and we went there for one whole week. Yes, Kg Rudan is deep in the rural area, where you have to travel two hours by car, one hour four wheel drive and one hour walking. A total of five hours travel, then you will get there. Although I had to go through long hours travel, stayed in rumah panjang and experienced life without electricity, but this experience beats the rest of my travel memories. It left a landmark in my heart. As we arrived there, the children of Kg Rudan were waiting for us at the sign board. Soon after we were divided into our foster families, the bond starts to meet. It was so engaging! An experience full of touching moments.

Tell me everything about how fascinating the swimming pool is there to swim, I've been to Disneyland when I was 7 years old and Millennium 2000 when I was 8 years old. I can tell what beats all that in terms of enjoying a nice swim and bathing. It will be the river of Kg Rudan, you won't believe the Joice that I experienced. The river runs fast and the depth of the river is 3 meters deep. The best part is, you can see fishes swimming along. Talking about engaging with the nature, swimming in Kg Rudan's river is actually swimming in the river of original nature. My friends and I felt adventurous and decided to trek the mountain foot and head to the first out of three waterfalls. First, we didn't dare to bring along the 5 to 14 years old children, but soon we found out that the mountain forest and the waterfall was their playground. Bare feeted, the children paved the pathway to the waterfall with ease, leaving us far behind. As soon as we reached the waterfall, the children was like small tarzans swinging from the tree trunks and splashed into the giant waterfall. I wouldn't want to loose the moment and splashed along. The running water was indeed breezing and crystal clear, I can see the ground beneath the water, and the water was deep! My little foster sister swam to me and in her hands was a fish. She caught the fish with her bare hands!

Besides the river, above the hills was also a breath taking experience. I walked through the hills with my foster sister to school, after 30 minutes walking, then we arrived at the school where my friends and I will be teaching. We will be teaching the children of Kg Rudan English, Arabic and Mathematics. I was assigned to teach English and it was my passion to do so. The feeling I gained was something very unusual, it was a mixture of happiness, patience and satisfaction. The school was on top of a hill and when I glanced outside from the classroom, I can see the amazon of Sarawak so clear, the view of the mountain touching the blue sky and also the scenery of the small village of Kg Rudan. I almost startled, the view was amazing!

At first it appeared to be easy to communicate with the villages of Kg Rudan with speaking Malay because they are able to understand. But, the longer we stayed there, the harder it became to stick onto Malay language. We came to realize that the Bidayuh language was so interesting and worth learning. Throughout the days living in Kg Rudan Sarawak, I managed to catch the rhythm of the language and totally could speak a full conservation of the beautiful Bidayuh language. Lets here some Biayuh such as "mamuh fi piin Kg Rudan", it stands for I miss the swim at Kg Rudan's river.

Traveling around Malaysia all the while, and even a part of Europe was a great lifetime experience for me. The further we travel, the wider we can see through horizons. But If I had one last resort of travel before my last breath, I would choose the nature, the beauty and the people of Kg Rudan. A place where I can gain excitement, engagement and build character excellence. Wouldn't you like to gain the same?

Holidays?? I’m sure that everyone will get excited when they heard holidays? And of course vacation will come across their mind. Well, I’m excited too. But there are not many places that we have visited since my father always busy with his work. Here, I’m going to tell about langkawi where my whole family and all our cousins had our vacation. First, we went to Station located at Oriental Village. It is a must-see attraction where you may enjoy the glide above the rainforest. There we can view beautiful nature and we can relax our mind. Besides, we also went to Underwater world langkawi. It is a marine showcase featuring both fresh and salt water fish and other forms of marine life. Underwater gardens of weeds and sea plants together with exotic fishes and exhibits or fossils and shells add to the range of interesting sights. Not forgotten, we also went to historical place which is Makam mahsuri. According to legend, Mahsuri who was white blood at her execution as a sign of her innocence. In her dying breath, she laid a curse on the island that it would remain barren for seven generations. Fact or fiction, seven generations have since passed and today, Langkawi is a flourishing tourist destination. Finally, we went to Kanjung Rhu where its enchanting beach affords magnificent views of nearby islands which can be reached at low tide on foot, an experience that is not to be missed. A short journey by boat from Tanjung Rhu brings you to the doorstep of Gua Cherita(Cave of Legends). As its name implies, the cave is steeped in a fabled tale of mystery and romance. On the walls of the cave can be seen ancient writing which has yet to be deciphered.
so, lets go to Langkawi!

Assalamualaikum and greetings, Madame Zue.

Oh, I have no much money for me to spend a lot on my vacation. I have many more little brothers and sisters that really need it more than me. As a brother, I get surrendered and let them feels happy as I was trained to live in hard during my boarding school time :) Still, I set up my vacation. Where, why, who, when, what??

Challenge on me was motivated me to travel and see the truth of 'The Kunti's Island Legend's'. The locals admitted, this secret Island must be kept from visited by the outsiders. Only certain people with a bunch of knowledge will be permitted to go in this Island.

With my Pagoda's and half boot cut jeans, I tied up smartly my black jacket around my neck. I started to sweat since the first step on the Island. The boat's 'Tekong' straight go speed away from this Island after got his worth payment. And, before he leaves, he warned me something. "It is waiting for you, Be careful."

My mission is only one, to get on the Juriyah's Hill and proving the Legend. I took all my ritual stuffs and start to trek.

So cold, the clock beat sharp at 1.37 am on my Patek Phillipe. PHEEEWWWWW. Something blew near my left ear. I am not turning left. I said some prays. I picked a stone in my pocket as supplied by 'Tok Karmat'. And threw it away. In believe, the stone will change as a food for the ghost. The first obstacle passed easily. But I have 8 more kilometres to reach. Is it anymore obstacles in front?

Urghhhh, i felt asleep right now. Will you wait for the 'to be continued' ??? :)

Dear Pn.Zue

awww.... Holiday.. after the foundation is one of the awesome thing to talk about.
I guess i figure it out one place that could be the one most of the people wants to go.
A chill place to will be the Cameron Highland which is the smallest district in the state of Pahang which is located in the north-western corner of the state. One of the wonders of Malaysia, it is the largest and most famous hill resort in the country. This highland paradise still retains much of the charm of an English village as I know of it.

Being a primarily agricultural domain,we will find an abundance of vegetables and fruits farms here. Cameron Highlands is also the leading producer of flowers and tea in Malaysia. There are lovely sight of extraordinary flowers you won’t see flourishing elsewhere in Malaysia which located on the Titiwangsa Range at about 1500 metres above sea-level, the temperature here can drop to 16 ˚C or lower at certain times.Based on the brochure I got when I went recently.
Cameron Highlands is made up of 4 main townships followed by smaller settlements at different elevations. The first town from the south is Ringlet, followed by Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Kea Farm, Tringkap, Kuala Terla and Kampung Raja.
It also has fresh flowers which are cultivated in the highlands and is a leading export product. Most of the flowers are grown in Brinchang. Flower nurseries can be found located on the hilly inclines bordering the main road in Brinchang. Blooms like roses, chrysanthemum, carnations, dalia, geranium, fuschia, gladioli and 'everlasting flowers' are grown at the nurseries.
Adjacent to the Cameron Highlands Golf Course is The Smokehouse Hotel, an enchanting Tudor-style building built in 1937. The pretty boutique hotel with latticed windows, wooden beams and furnished with interesting antique artifacts has 13 lovely suites. English cuisine, including cream teas are served. Its English country garden is especially a treat to its guests. Afternoon tea and scones and an original red British phone box standing opposite the hotel completes the picture.
Finally, here are many interesting jungle walks in Cameron Highlands. Some are just a short gentle stroll and others a half-day stiff track for the very fit. All are enjoyable and worth venturing on.Most hotels and guest houses are very knowledgeable and helpful on the subject.
Basically there are alot benefits we could get from this place. U wouldn't know if u don't try this place.
Give a try....

Hello and Assalamualaikum to you Dr Zue ,
Talking about holiday trip …. Everyone wants this . It’s the time for us to chill and relax either with family or friends or anyone that we comfortable with. So I’ve a suggestion for all the best place or city that maybe you guys can go one day . It’s Istanbul , Turkey ! My dad used to live there when he just married with my mom because of work . To be honest I’ve never visit there and I wish to visit it one day with my family or friends  . My dad said the best thing about Istanbul is of course about the food , because my dad is really a big fan of kebab and he also likes “that kind of Arabian food” . Besides that, my parents said the buildings there are so beautiful and if you love taking a picture of nature or building or want to create wonderful memories they suggested to come to Istanbul because you gonna love the place but my dad still prefers to live in Malaysia he said “you gonna miss everything in Malaysia once you go to overseas for more than a month” 
Personally , I really want to visit or even live in Seoul,Korea . It’s not like I don’t be grateful that im living in a very great country now . I just love everything there. Yes when I say Korea everyone will assumes that I love kpop or Korean dramas . Exactly ! but its not the main thing . I love the language , culture and I want to feel the 4 seasons there . Since in Malaysia we don’t have a winter season (I hope it wont happen hehe) so I really want to feel how is it and I want to touch the snow . But if we talk about their food , I will reject all of it. My malay tongue cant accept it seriously . I was trying to eat Kimchi (Korean really love this) but it tastes weird , its sour and also spicy . Since I don’t eat spicy food and I also don’t really eat sour food so I don’t think I can eat Kimchi like how they did hehe. And they also got so many beautiful places there (from what I watched on tv) .
But last year I went to Malacca with my big family. Just a short holiday we went there for only 3 days 2 night but nothing is great to be honest . Since I don’t really like go to shopping so I just stayed in hotel room when my sister and my aunties were going out to Jonker Walk (sorry not really sure what’s the name) . While mostly boys they played football .So nothing is fun to share maybe I can say the only best thing is the pool ! Everyone loves the swimming pool right? but since I don’t kow how to swim , so I’ll just go into the pool for about few minutes then I go back into the hotel hehe maybe I should go to other cities like Sabah or Sarawak . They’ve a bit different cultures so I guess it would be fun ig I could go there and learn something new and the most important is the price for the ticket flight is not so expensive hehe 
