New Year means a lot to us. Well, if it's not significant, why would we have all the joyous celebrations, mind-blowing aspirations, and absolute resolutions.
Most importantly, 2009 is not just ANOTHER year. What do you think?
To me, twelve months is like a grace period for many who have yet to accomplish goals ... like me:) It's a lucky charm for friends who are starting a new life... and a sweet challenge for graduates and final years when it comes to employability. Looks like the job market is getting all the more competitive these days.
360 days is like an endless to-do list reminding us of responsibilities and deadlines. Fine, that does justice to our pledge to quality and productivity. But, all work and no play makes John a realllllll dull boy..so, let's take a portion of it and make plans for some holidays, vacations and celebrations....
Just a final thought for us to ponder...the tag 'NEW' may be so cliche, but if it's the accepted expression of goodness and goodwill, why not cherish it, and make things happen. Nevertheless, it does not take a NEW year to make us committed, dedicated and alert. In fact, every breath we inhale promises hope, happiness, and wisdom.
Let's hope this NEW year brings joy, prosperity and friendship to us all.

For me, new year is also a normal day.Few years ago, i will go out celebrate with friends.Now, i just let it be very peace and normal day. I will think what i want to do for this year, and how to improve myself. I already forget what i wish to do for 2008, so need to always remind myself in this year, so that i can achieve my target in 2009. "Do everything good, far from all evil and try my best to help others" i think is most important for me.:)

2008 has been an eventful year for myself. I've had my first job, ended school, entered college... I probably shouldn't go on... I had many things that i want to change about myself beginning of 2009 but its only 10 days into 2009 and I've disappointed my resolutions.. Only today i realized that my flaws, the ones that I'm trying to correct is not a flaw at all, its definitely a disadvantage but all my faults that I've listed seems to be the ones that leave a great impact on my life .. they are the ones that shape me to become a better person. To correct the past is impossible, thus, i would embrace my mistakes so that i can learn from them and eventually I am closer to becoming a better person than i was yesterday.
New year, is the check point of my life. Where i recheck my last year resolutions and revise them. This is the time to check whether i had reach the goal or not. Besides that, new year also mean another year for me to exist in this world. I hope this year will be a better year for everyone in the world and hope there is no more wars!!! Happy 2009 !!!
when we talk about NEW year..mostly people will think about the celebration..where to celebrate..what time we want to go out for the celebration..only that..but..there is something missing...when new year comes..we must think about ourself..what should we do in order to improve ourself better that previous year..the correct word to use is RESOLUTION..may be it is a little bit cliche..but..it is command..because..we must have a mission and vision..there is the way how we can improvise ourself..change our bad attitude..become more gentle..more polite..no body is perfect in this world..when new year comes this is the time when we need to change lots!! don't think time will wait for us..time passing by without our realization..we must run towards time..so that we are not left behind.. :)
what is amazing about new year is that i'll feel awkward on the first day..
well.. since it's the first day of the new year, then yesterday will be 'last year'... hehe..
then people will say "hi! long time no c..! since last year i guess..? :p" even if u wake up in the morning, u can still say "my God... I haven't showered since last year... wow!"
eheh... so everybody will think of something when new years come... their resolution.. plans.. and of course 'naik darjah' for school students... good for them.. :)
But lets not forget our brothers and sisters in Gaza... we were celebrating with firecrackers but they suffered bom showers... give them support even it is the smallest support u can contribute...
Yups, twelve months of 365 days are like timeline to achieve greater things! happy new year. :)

New year? I don't really have a resolution because somehow i would not follow it throughout the year. Hahah. I know it is not a good thing to do but I'm just hoping that 2010 will bring a new sparkle into my life. And also hoping that, my family and i will be blessed. New year eve is one of my favourite day. I'll get the chance to meet my close friends. All of us will go and watch the magnificent fireworks together. It is like a small reunion to us because we don't get the chance to hang out with each other often. Everyone has their own commitment. We take this opportunity to strengthten our friendship bonding.

2009 is the year that i even cannot forget.so many experience,memory and something that i will never forget..actually same with previous year before this;)
2009 is the year i finish my school..not longer anymore staying far away from my family..not longer anymore filling homesick at my mom..not anymore eat food at hostel;)and the most exited things not anymore have to follow the school rule:)
now,i was a University student..even cannot so proud i am not studying at oversea or UM,taking engineering course or medic,but i proud of myself..not everyone can enter Uniten right;)
sometimes ago,i think i have disappoint my parent with my spm result..even they not say like that i can feel it..this time i have to recovering from mistake all that..
my family is everything..
my resolution for 2010 is to study hard,makes my parents proud of me again,makes them happy and be a solehah daughter:)

2009 has been a bit of a challenge for me. it's a bittersweet memory for me which i've been through a lot of provocation throughout the year. i entered national service at malacca, it's the first time i have to stay away from my family. my mother visited my everyweek when i was there. i was homesick(^_^). then i got my driving licence, my father was admitted to the hospital:( and finally i entered uniten:) i dont really know what is my resolution fr 2010. it comes by itself, from time to time. i hope next year will be a better year, insyAllah :)
yeah ! new year again ! cant believe how fast the time leaves us. plus, its already been a year since i left school. good and bad memories never ever erase from my mind. i hope the memories will last forever but somehow somewhere i feel like i have wasted my time for all this years. i dont know why, after heard and FEEL the kris allen's song ' live like were dying ' i realize i should change myself and be better person. everyday is valuable and i should use it wisely. collect memories as much as i could so i will never feel i lost something but the important thing is i hope i never forgot to say i love u to someone i think i should say especially to my parents before its too late. always remember to live like were dying :)

i felt just a few blink of eyes for 2009.. very fast right? times never wait for us.. we have to chase time.. for me,new year is just like a new start for our life.
just forget the past. our bad experience or bitter that we had went through.. never repeat your mistake.. put a new wish and hope for new year.. hoping the all nice thing in our life in future.. we are older and hope we are also more mature in facing new life..be wiser,patient and well prepared to face any obstacles that we may face.may God bless us..

First of all,happy new year!!May the year 2010 brings joy and happiness to you and your family.I agree with you on saying that "360 days is like an endless to-do list"..Saying 360 days doesn't even take a minute..but going through that period of time,I mean..how many things that we encounter with each day through out the 52 weeks.It is just...countless.For some people..new year means almost nothing,just something that comes and go..without any effects on their live..actually..in my opinion..a new year should well planned with a what to-do list con sisting of,literally what you want to achieve in the new year which will be filled with much more excitement if the what to-do list consist of a whole different things compared to the previous year.This would add to our courage and spirit in welcoming the new year and going through it with full of joy..insyaAllah...I hope this coming year of 2010 brings a totally new adventure in my life..in a good way that is...amin...

Even every year we set an aim to success for but sometime we can't manage to reached the target that we aim for..
But even we didn't reached the goal but its a new year..we must celebrate it...

New Year...
Just wanna share how I celebrate on New Year...
For the first time in my life ever... I celebrate New Year in kL...
I had never celebrated it before in my hometown... New Year seems to be nothing before...
But not in here... so crowd with peoples around playing they spray stuff...
If you go to bukit bintang there.... u can see a lot people sell it along the road...
When the New Year arrived... all of us start playing that stuff... it was really exciting and fun!!!
But the sad thing is... wondering how DBKL will clean up the mess later... well that is their job =P
Can u ever imagine?? The roads were even closed... and a lot of peoples on the roads... I had never felt that before... I even can’t breathe properly... and... I feel very hOT on the road!!! Sweating around.... just waiting for countdown... after all... we were entertained by some local artists...
The firecracker also quite impressive... im sure... a lot of money wasted on that...
Lastly... hope this New Year.. Bring our new hope for us... SET OUR GOAL... try TO GRAB IT while we can... plant the spirit deep into our heart... do I talk too philosophy??? hahahah... wat ever... I don’t think so I know how to talk in that way... hu3... nitez nitez all....
