For many others including me, I believe success is lifestyle, it depend on individual thus relative, small success for some may be big for others. Yes, I do agree the education and knowledge is very important, but it's not meaning need university platform in order to become successful person right? For me, to obtain knowledge, u can get it almost anyone who is the expert in it.

Assalamualaikum, UNITEN actually for me is a medium that polish, guide and preparing me to the upcoming challenges that i will certainly meet one day, and im lucky to be in this university to gain experience that i might not have in other university, if we want to become healthy we must eat a healthy food, so do education, if you want to success in an area u have to choose a university that have that specialty, and i think UNITEN one of the top university in Malaysia that offer I.T course and been highly recommended by people. education in university not enough to bring success, it must be mix with the way u present yourself and how you mingle with people around you.
Why are you here, in UNITEN? At first, i don't know about this university. It's my dad who works in TnB told me about it.Due to that and i'm interested in IT courses,that's y i m in UNITEN now to continue my journey of studies. Do you believe that university education will make you a successful person? i would say no. In this new era, if u would like to have a pleasant salary, i think the minimum requirement now will be a degree certificate but it's sufficient? Degree holder are really a common certificate nowadays.So in University level, it's just a ticket to bring us to the reality world full of competition of getting a job. What we learnt in University are really insufficient for us. We shall explore our self outside the University to gain more experience about what is happening out there. By doing this, we are 1 step faster than the others by getting a job after our graduation. In addition, in order for us to compete with other people, we need to be creative,think out of the box and different from other people. Of course everyone got a valuable reason of why he/she is here. But the reason of seven students, including me, from International IT University in Kazakhstan is quite same. It is an opportunity to get TWO certificates at once, only in four years. Just imagine it is great! For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, explanation: there is an exchange program between two universities, called “2+2”, which means two years in Kazakhstan two years here. So, I’m the happy one!
About the choice, of course I believe that I will get a benefit from UNTIEN. Because, before coming here, I already thought out everything and came to decision, that I have to join this program. Hope that University Tenaga Nasional really generates professionals…

In a way I do and in a way I don't. Most of all the jobs in this unpredictable world requires some type of degree or college courses. People with degrees have a higher chance of getting hired for the job. For example, a teacher, pharmacist, and nurse require some type of degree. So yes I do think that people with degrees are somewhat more successful. But some people with degrees have a hard time finding jobs. I know many people with a degree that's been jobless for years. So, if you do decide to go to college please major in something that you know will be in good demand and something that you know that you enjoy. If you think that jobs won't be offered and that it's not in a big demand then please don't waste your time. Trust me I've seen alot of people go to college and are jobless.

why are you here in UNITEN?
since i was studying English in ELS institute here in Malaysia. i have decided to complete my studies. and after alot of research from the internet and from my friends who has been here for quite long time. there was a stronge reason which help me to be confident to choose UNITEN to complete my studies, which is UNITEN is one of the top universities in Malaysia. and thank god i think i feel like i took a good step by studying in UNITEN.
Do you believe that university education will make you a successful person?
well, university education its just a basic for every major in life. i think if the person want to be successful they would go for a thousands of attempts and it may failed. and for me the best reason to be successful is never give up at all keep trying whatever you like to do till you achieve your goals. becouse in every step you take you are going to learn something from your mistakes and the next time you would be careful not to fall again.
In my opinion, Uniten is my best option from other universities. Uniten provides the courses which are credibility to my dream. My dream is to be a successful person in an IT firm. University life gives me a pre experience to undertake the future environment and teaches me how to adapt new environment.
A degree in educations is essential to success in life. Financially speaking degree in UNITEN is reasonable and it do generate professionals. I will say that there are few people who have gone on to have financial success without the aid of a college education but it is not likely to happen. For most of the jobs,employee need to continue the education process even after a degree. Education will keep you up on the changes in your chosen industry. With technology expanding rapidly,it is necessary to have a degree on your chosen field. Granted, there are other ways to succeed in life, with family, friends and loved ones....but unless financial security is not one of your priorities a degree is a must.
I'm here in uniten because I want to get a degree before going into the working life. Only with a degree I can secure a good job in the future. There were many other universities that I can go to but the reason I've chosen Uniten is because of the high reputation that Uniten got and also of the high employability rate of Uniten graduates.

University Education is mostly a ‘do’ these days! Most jobs require at least an Associates degree if not more.
Having a degree, I feel that I am more successful/experienced when it comes to applying for a job-those with education will most likely get the job first!

I'm here in UNITEN since 2009 when I was firstly registered to the foundation programme in Information Technology. I enter this university because I heard and see the few creditability they have won in several competition and at the same the time UNITEN is well known in employability. Moreover, in this university most of the lecturer are capable in conducting a big group of students in certain class. Furthermore, the skills that lecturer have are very impressive and their teaching skills is very tolerable by each and every students. In my opinion about the university education is really will make a person become very successful person in their life. A big achievement in the form of studies is can achieved by students by putting their hard-working in completing the assignments, projects and quizzes. University education makes a successful person only if one truly believes in themselves.
Confidence really does pay,one can be a straight A student but not know how to answer questions in interviews this could really be an obstacle in one s bright future.Not all of us will archieve our goals,life is full of challenges, and we might need to face them in order to succed in evrything.Life throws punches but one has to throw them back and hit harder.The reason why i am in uniten is to further my studies with the hope of getting a job that pays well when i get home.I wanted to be a lawyer when i was young but did not qualify.
Frankly, i have no idea why i'm in UNITEN! My elder sister graduated from UNITEN and I've just decided to follow her footstep. But, i believe that is God's arrangement too! I've been in UNITEN for almost 3 years and now i'm a final year student! Time flies and my journey in UNITEN going to end soon!
After i've studied for so such a long time, i realize that time management is the most vital skill that a person should learn. University education doesn't determine one's success. In my opinion, it depends on how you utilize the time well. One must be capable of managing time when it comes to studies. Of course, as a student, he or she must have diligent spirit and surely will become a successful person. Besides excellence in studies, a successful person should have a great leadership skills, soft skills and encompasses wide general knowledge too. There's no shortcut to success. In my opinion, university education doesn’t means that you are a successful person. No matter how good your academic are, for example get into dean list, if your soft skills are not good, the possibility to get hired is very low. Most of our lecturers told us, soft skills are very important nowadays. Most of the companies are looking for a person good in soft skills. For example: communication, leadership and entrepreneurship. Let’s say, a person is expert in coding but he afraid to communicate with others. How can he and his colleague/boss communicate when they got something want to ask him? In this case, he probably will not be promoted to a higher position just because he afraid to communicate! As we are working in IT industry in the future; when we doing a system, customer requirements are very important. If we afraid to communicate with our customers, we can never implement a system that can satisfy the customers or solve the customers’ problem.
So when we are still studying, that is a good chance to let us improve our soft skills by joining the clubs in our university or join the activities organized by the clubs. We can enhance our communication skills by learning how to communicate with members and how to deal with outsiders. When we become a leader, we can improve our leadership. Meanwhile, we need to manage our time well. We can’t focus on either academic or co-curricular only. We need to do well in both sides in order to be a successful person.
Most of the students, only focus on their academic. Because what other people look at us probably is based on our education level. For me, yes, can’t deny that education level is playing an important role. But we can’t look at others based on their education level. Who knows there might have few successful people didn’t have a degree certificate, but have good soft skills. That’s what made him/her success.
My conclusion is academic is not the only ticket for success, we have to good in both academic and soft skills in order to become a successful person. Most important thing is we must believe that we can do it!

I agree, UNITEN is one of the best universities in Malaysia, I'm proud to be a student in UNITEN. One of the criteria that make the UNITEN best is that all subjects are taught using English. As far as I know, a lot of my friends who were studying in college and polytechnics still adopt Malay language while they are learning, although it is not bad to learn in Malay, but when it comes to talking to people in the same profession, there will be a small problem of understanding. I believe that UNITEN will provide good education and will help me to achieve my goals.

during my school years,i thought that if i can enrolled in one of the universities in Malaysia,it would be a huge achievement for me. it can help me prepares for my career world that surely be challenging and demanding as we can see it nowadays.
universities provide degrees or essential qualifications that were very important in order to get a better job. but then i realized, there were so much things else that were important for students who want to pursue a good career.

I heard about UNITEN from my schoolmate that has study here. So after do pros and cons, I decided to study here and my first impression about UNITEN is wow, so big. For me, university isn’t just about that piece of paper but also the friendships and contacts you’ve formed, the memories you’ve made, the skills you’ve gained, and the amount you have grown as a person. When you think back to your university experience you don’t want to think, “Well, all I really got was a piece of paper.”
Take the time to get out, go for coffee, join groups, and get involved. Chase your passions and do your best to gain skills not just in the classroom, but outside as well. Through it all never forget that balance is key. It is the ticket for success. You can’t socialize all the time and conversely you can’t lock yourself in a room and study 24/7 without going absolutely insane. It is essential that you find the spot between doing well and having fun.

So you should identify the cause of your nervousness. The things I have learned from my seniors, many of whom have already achieved in youth what most people dream of achieving in a lifetime, have been worth more than any academic degree.
Also, the fact that you're allowed to check out the classes before actually enrolling in them definitely helps you to decide which ones to take. Basically, you get to sit in on the first lecture or two and give it a test-run before you decide whether to sign up for that class. You have the right to choose which lecturers you're interested to teach you and guide you through out the semester.
The pursuit of excellence has long been a characteristics of Uniten. Uniten has endeavored to gather promising students and well-known faculty in a community designed to stimulate and inspire its students to develop their talents to the fullest. Uniten's faculty and academic facilities-laboratories, and libraries that are incomparable with other Universities in Malaysia. Uniten students learn in classrooms and labs from excellent lecturers who are leading authorities in their fields. Perhaps most important, Uniten offers its undergraduates the privilege of studying with exceptionally talented and motivated peers from all over the globe. Admission is based on achievement and promise without regard to financial need.
Other than that, it is also great for students that tend to get along with everyone. Great for self-motivated and passionate students. Uniten is bit more laid back than what most people imagine, so both don't worry if you're not a type A person.
I absolutely enjoy being here in Uniten with wonderful peers, and also wonderful lecturers. The Uniten spirit is also one of the most important things to be proud of.
A University is just another platform that helps you achieve it. I’ve been studying in UNITEN for almost 3 years now and I think it is a great place to achieve my goals.
Life experience is also important in being successful. All the obstacles you face will help you grow and become a better person which I think is the most important accomplishment.
for me,university is not the valid benchmark for success after school. its our life after graduated from university shall be the benchmark for success. even if we leave university in flying colour but after that,we cannot find a job and only living with our parent's money just like when we study in university. there is no point of going to university when we only gonna do the same thing after leaving the university.for me,you can be called successful man or woman when you can repay you parent's sacrifice for you and take a good care of them till their last breath

I am here, because I want to get a decent degree and become a good programmer and make an achievement that would be helpful & useful to my society, and most importantly make my parents proud.
I believe that good education leads to profession success, and I think UNITEN, on many levels is one of the best universities in the country at its field .
To be honest, I was clueless after getting my SPM result. I applied for many scholarships hoping that I would get one without caring whatever course it is. Sadly, all my applications got rejected and I was really demoralized.
Then I got to know about UNITEN's November intake from my neighbor and decided to apply for it.
Thank god it's one of the best decisions in my life as I'm totally in love with computer science.
I feel like for many of those who aren't inclined to study and educating via books should be allowed to pursue what they feel they can best succeed in. For many, they feel like they need tertiary education to help them come up in life, for many others, all it takes is experience.
Success is subjective. You can achieve it if you did something that satisfied your wishes. Success is a big word to make your life so meaningful. Success can be different meaning with one another's life, anything that you think as success, it is success for you. Everybody have their own definition of success, through anything that they achieved and what they went through. Success makes your life so meaningful because success didn't come in every second you need it, it come when you really have the ability to encounter it.

In my opinion, university education doesn't make a person success in his or her life. Success of a person doesn't mean in term of his or her education or career. Everyone define success differently. As for the reason in UNITEN, For me, it is just an alternative method to get my degree certificate easier and less cost and in the same time I can refer myself as a professional rather than some fake graduate that is willing to buy a fake certificate. It is undeniable that university education gives us exposure on what we will face in our future and how we socialize with people. However, the major key of success is the person who wishes to succeed in their life. A person's will make difference on how successful will that person be in the future. Honestly, I believe that education will lead each and every one of us to the path of success. I myself am currently studying in UNITEN, and why would I be here people may ask, it is because I believe that with a degree in my hand will ease my life in the future in terms of having a good career and a stable life.
However, education is not the only way to be succesful, it is only one of the medium. Not all the literates succeed in their life similarly, not all the illiterates are failures. I think that success is not so much dependent on qualifications, but much more dependent on the type of person we are and the drive and ambitions that we have. If we’re willing to work harder than others, if we're willing to put in time and effort to improve, then there is no doubt that we will succeed whether or not we have a degree.
We may not succeed at first and it may even take us years to achieve success with our own endeavors but if we persevere and keep learning from our mistakes, we will succeed and achieve what most people only dream of.
At the end of the day, I still believe in qada n qadar and I have seen many that can still succeed in their life even without a roll of certificate. Always remember that life is not a bed of roses. So work hard and if it is not enough, work harder and never give up. God will only help people who help themselves.
for me an university is a platform where you boost up your knowledge, which is indeed a ticket for success but it is also a place where you craft and make a way for your better future. if student just enter an university just to get the certificate but not the knowledge offered, it might been wasted because he/she will never treasure the knowledge, and in the end the knowledge will just disappear. nowadays every person can make it to the university but not all person get the knowledge. an university is a part for ticket to success, but in the form of a platform, and what exactly the ticket of success is the knowledge itself.
The enrollment in a university is not the success itself, it is a path to our dreams. Some people may get to their dreams without studying in the university. UNITEN... one of the leading universities in the country and has carved up its name in many occasions...University is one of the platform to achieve success. The reason being in the world some people don’t necessarily need university to achieve their life goals they can become successful without having gone to a university. But it’s only in a few secluded incidents where that happens. A good university that provides excellent education can help an individual become successful in life. I have a belief that an excellent university that provides high quality education can help an individual into becoming someone in life. I choose UNITEN to be my platform of success as it was offering all kind of courses which I liked and wanted to pursue, I heard there were quality lectures which will guide me into my journey into becoming someone and I was really impressed when I actually saw the university. It was not what I had built it my mind but it was pretty much close and over the years I fell in love with UNITEN and I really enjoy being here I cannot bear the thought of having to leave this wonderful place which I know I will eventually have to. To be honest, Uniten was not my first higher education facility of choice, but my parents encouraged me that Uniten is very promising, in terms of available courses, the lecturer provided, and the rate of employ-ability for its student, not to mention the time it takes to graduate. When I entered Uniten in the beginning, I was not motivated, still feeling young, and wished that i have more time to slack off, since I have just finished my SPM, and my holiday fever is still at large. But all that change when I was in the foundation year. Ive learned that to be successful, it does not come in a whim, rather I have to work hard to achieve it. Ive learnt from lecturers, the greater effort you give in your work, will definitely bring back good results. The seniors here also have lead me that I have to be independent and be productive. I am truly grateful that these people are present here to guide me. In the end it all make sense why I am here in Uniten. To be successful not only for me, but to make my parents proud, and prove to them that they have been successful in raising their son.

as a person that surely pursuing a chance to make a good life in future, i choose uniten to be my university as it could help me achieving the neccessary outfits that may lead me to get a good job and fortune out of it. In the real world, study means you need to focus on achieving your goals and keep on going ahead while you have to sacrifice your own time and needs just to get a good grade. after you qualify the needed requirements to complete your study, this is when the real life will be reveal before you. so i think the absolute why i choose uniten is because uniten could help me to achieve what i need in the future, hence, it does not solely about study and such.

There is no shortcut to success. No matter what form of success that you referred to, you must be ready to put in a lot of efforts. Different people have different perspectives of success. For some, success is about material achievement such as having good job, owning luxury car and home and etc. Some describe success as the achievement of reaching the highest rank in a organization. Also some view success as achievement of realizing our own dreams. For me, ticket for success is not all about depending on university education. It is well-known that only a small part of what we learned at university would be used in working life. What really matter is how we able to take every chance from every experience at the university to learn something useful and definitely fiery determination for success. No matter where you study, it’s about how you take the chance to improve your communication, soft-skills, building your character and preparing ourselves for the real life afterwards that will help you pursuit success in the future. I am here in UNITEN because of the availability of the degree programme that I pursue after to enable me working in field of work that I have planned for myself. I believe that UNITEN is a very suitable place for me to challenge myself and I know that I will gain a lot from all the valuable experiences here.

Well, I do think that university is a good platform to lead me to success in any field. I do not choose UNITEN on purpose since JPA offer me to further my study here. So I just simply take the offer and end up studying in UNITEN. I never regret my choice, however. University education can make us a successful person and UNITEN, in my opinion, is the best platform to achieve victory. Even though studying here seems tiring since there is less holiday compared to other university, I know that this effort is not for nothing. According to our Dean, holiday will only make our brain function in the lowest rate. He actually said this during my registration day, in front of our parents and lecturers. When he said those words, I can say that most of the audience nodded their head as a sign of agreeing. And frankly speaking, I do agree with his statement although that means less enjoy time for me. Our Dean always encourages us to conduct a lot of big programs. One of them is the orientation for new students. Throughout these programs, I can see a lot of potentials and I can say that most of us really have those leadership values – responsible, caring, committed, and whatnot.

Success comes in many forms. Be it winning the championship tournament or even achieving excellence in academics, success brings the joy that is simply indescribable. I did not choose to go to UNITEN. I was sent there and my mission in UNITEN is to come out a better person. UNITEN is an institute that generates professionals and these professionals are professionals in academic, in sports, in soft skills and even in the emotional and spiritual aspect. Studying in UNITEN has really expanded my horizons. This institute has taught me a lot of things. I now have a set of skills that lets me study efficiently, make a lot of friends, and manage my time to the fullest.
But the one thing UNITEN has showed me is the various types of people it houses. I now know that there are many people with many different personalities out there and it is up to us to find out the ones compatible with us. I believe I have achieved that. Finding friends who are compatible is the biggest hurdle in an undergraduate’s life. I have overcome that hurdle and that truly is a great success.

Personally, I feel that university is just a route to success. It doesn’t guarantee you achievements within your dreams but merely provide an alternative for us in achieving your dreams. To be successful doesn’t mean you have to be an engineer, a doctor, or a lawyer. This is the misconception people have in minds nowadays. Back then life was hard and often that triumph were people with qualifications of a doctor or a lawyer. It is unsurprising to see children are encouraged by their parents to pursue their so-called ‘dreams’ and eventually qualify to be a doctor, a lawyer, or even an engineer. At the end of the day, have they actually achieved their dreams? You may be successful as a hawker stall owner, a janitor, or whatever people think as unsuccessful, because you achieved your dreams. University is merely a place to obtain your passport to success. Again, it doesn’t guarantee you success. It is entirely up to you in achieving your dreams. To me, as long as dreams are being brought into realization, success is already at hand. Walt Disney quoted that “If you can dream, you can do it.” Just because you fail to enter a university doesn’t mean you will not succeed. So as long as you have a dream, so as long as success will be eventually yours.

Why am I here? Well, I was brought here by an occasion. Before entering UNITEN, i never come across this university and its name didn't even exist in my mind. However, because of the scholarship given by JPA, I was here, studying diligently.
In my opinion, I feel that studying in university is not a must in gaining success. Instead, it is just one of the pathways to success. Undoubtedly, there are people who did not finish their studies in university and yet to achieve success in their lives. Citing an example, Bill Gates is an exemplary model in gaining reputable achievement even though he was expelled from the university.
For me, hard work and determination are prerequisites to success. Without being persistent in the efforts to garner success, triumph will, indubitably, elude us. Besides, we should be tough and tenacious in overcoming problems as the saying goes 'when the going gets tough, it is the tough who gets going'.

Definitely, I have my own goals in my life too and these aims are always the factor that motivates me to continue my life journey. So, why am I here in UNITEN? Frankly, I did not know anything about UNITEN when I first got the offer letter from my sponsor. I was confused and inquisitive about the surroundings of UNTEN. However, when I have stayed here for some times, I get the purpose of the sponsor for sending me here. UNITEN is the best place for me to accomplish my missions. It is the place for me to change my life.
I opine that university education will definitely turn me into a successful person. This is because it provides me a better qualification in getting a job. I will have the knowledge on a specific profession and I can utilize this knowledge in contributing to our society. Besides that, I can mingle with many types of people during the university life. To be honest, before I came to Uniten, I had never heard about a place called Uniten and I am here because JPA sent me here. Maybe Uniten is not the best university in Malaysia, maybe it doesn’t have high tech facilities, maybe it doesn’t offer nice, delicious, cheap food as other universities do, and maybe there aren’t a lot of beautiful girls in Uniten but, Universiti Tenaga Nasional is actually a quite good place to study.
I believe that university education will make me a successful person. We are living in a modern world where everyone is judged by his or her educational level. Educational level matters a lot in almost everything, including looking for jobs, friends or even spouses. The age of Loh Boon Siew, when someone could make a fortune without receiving any form of proper education is far gone. In today’s world, in order to be successful you have to use the conventional way which is graduating from a university or the unconventional one, like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates did. However, the latter one depends mostly on luck, ingenuities, talents and creativities which most of us lack of.
I believe university education will make me successful. I learn precious knowledge in university. This knowledge equips and prepares me for my future. I believe that there is always a story behind every success. I would say that the enrollment in university to pursue my tertiary education is considered as a success to me. It is also a gift from God. I strongly believe that university education will make me a better person because I feel that university is the place where one can learn a lot of things before stepping into the real world. The general consensus is that university education is the prerequisite for success. That's only partially true because success is subject to myriad factors besides education, such as experience, upbringing, environment, effort, and perhaps fate. The more paramount question is, how do you define success?
To me, success is acquiring what you desire, or fulfilling your dreams. If your ultimate dream is becoming a housewife eventually, so be it. Ambition is subjective, and the lack of it is nothing to be ashamed of.

There are many other factors that contribute to job success. To land a job, we must reach the minimal requirement the employer wants and that is the use of CGPA. Sure, intelligence is golden but nowadays employers want someone multi-talented; they want someone who is not only a jack of all trades but also the master of all. They want someone smart, charming, confident and good at socializing.
Thus, I truly believe that university education will make me a successful person but thinking that wits will be enough is naïve and immature.
Uniten, a place unknown to me until I opened the scholarship offer letter. Who would expect that by getting a scholarship, you also learn about a new place? I came to Uniten to learn, as much as I could. I not only want to learn about engineering, I also want to learn so many other things. The more specific goal is to learn how to become a better person. To be more specific, I want to become someone who can be useful to the country, the society , someone who is filled with knowledge and someone who could make people happy. Why am I here? If you asked me that question when I first step in Uniten, then my answer is simple, JPA sent me here, so here I am. At first, I am so confuse about this decision because I know simply nothing about Uniten. Even my seniors and my family did not know about the quality of this university. So I risked myself and follow the JPA’s order to study in Uniten. But when I experienced my first trimester here during my foundation days, I knew that Uniten is one of the universities that have a good education system. I enjoyed studying in Uniten and Uniten is really suitable for me. Then, if you are asking me the same question now, my answer is that I came here to learn and I believe Uniten can make me an excellent engineer.
Can university education make people become a successful person or not? Well, I have to choose neither. This is because I believe that to be or not to be successful is an individual choice. I know that university education will trigger, motivate students to be successful. But in the end the choice depends on that particular person.
Nowadays, every job needs a certain requirement even the janitors. People are struggling hard to get good CGPA and they also try to be all rounder because some employers don’t only look at CGPA but they also look at how talented someone is. Because of this, some people have astray from their original motive. Why they should study and such? They only think of getting good grades so they can have a better job and live a better life. This is not wrong but they are ruining themselves with a burden called ‘study’. My mom once said that, ‘the only way that human kind can increase its own dignity is throughout education.’ That is why I believe that educations have changed me to a better person. Universities play an important role to educate people to their finest. Although universities’ education systems may vary from one to another but their motive are the same which is to generates professionals. That are why educations are important. They serve to keep people mind calm and to increase they knowledge and dignity. Not only to make people smarter but also wiser by intelligence, words and attitude. That is why I go to Uniten.

Besides, university is a platform where one is instilled the value of social responsibility. However, university does not guarantee success as I believe that success depends solely on the efforts one put to a matter. I believe that one who dares to sacrifice and put his heart and mind to a matter will achieve success. University provides us tertiary education that is needed to get a good job in the future. I am currently enrolling in UNITEN, pursuing a degree in engineering. Throughout the coursework, UNITEN have developed me into a better person. Studying in UNITEN is surely a lifetime worth of experience and I enjoyed it. In short, I am glad to enroll in UNITEN and I thank UNITEN for developing me into a better person.
For me, studying in university is one of essential processes that we have to go through to grow. Years of study in primary school and secondary school simply cannot provide the knowledge I seek in my life. The rigid syllabus and answer scheme in our Malaysian education system deprive the students from having their freedom to think out of the box and critically. All those subjects are fixed and the answer schemes are so not flexible that we cannot get marks even the answers we give are correct if they are not inside the syllabus. This defies my definition of learning. The sole reason why I am here in Uniten, a university, is because I believe I can get something different from a university education. The rote learning in secondary school makes me sick of studying and I hope an entirely different education system in university will be able to reignite my enthusiasm to learn.
I do believe that university education will make me a successful person. First, let me define what success to me is. A successful person can think independently and subjectively and not simply follow the norm. This is success to me. I want to be able to see an issue from different perspectives and make wiser judgment to resolve a problem. I want to stand out from the rest and prevent myself from being manipulated by other people. I think only university education can help me to achieve that.
I personally do not think that university education could make me be a successful person. What define a successful person? Successful person, to me, is not someone who owns luxurious super sport cars like Lamborghini with a theme-park-sized house in Beverly Hills. On the other hands, one who can handle one’s life well ,able to maintain great relationships with people in one’s life and has no worry of the money problem is considered to be a successful person in one’s life to me. We ourselves could be the one responsible of our success in our own life.
University education no doubt could equip us with lots of knowledge and skills that might be useful in the society later, but it has little responsible in molding who we are and the values that we have at the end of the day. However, admitting to universities will certainly widen our horizons and enable us to meet people of all stripes each and every day. This will build up our own values when perceiving things in the future. Moreover, we can learn some soft skills that are needed in building a good relationship with others. In the end, university education will provide us with all the weapons that must be acquired to be success in one life. However, eventually, we ourselves are the ones to decide to make good of all the weapons or not and thereby, success in life or not.
I am sure that everyone in this world has his or her own goal. The goal will guide you along the path in pursuing success. For me, my goal is to become a successful engineer. In order to pursue my goal, I studied very hard so that I can excel in SPM examination. Finally, my determination and persistence paid off. I got flying colors in my SPM.
I always believed that education becomes the passport to success. With the presence of good education, I will be able to shine in the working world. Finally, I chose UNITEN as the place to pursue my first degree because UNITEN is well known for its engineering courses. It has the world class lecturers and has an in depth curriculum that can further help me to become a successful engineer in future.

When people are talking and discussing about tertiary education, a list of well-known varsities such as University of Malaya, Taylor’s University, Sunway University and University Teknologi Petronas would come to people mind. Personally, frankly, before I came to UNITEN, I never hear about the name of UNITEN and never aware of the existence of UNITEN in Malaysia. My perception of UNITEN being a non-excellent and infamous university has changed after a year of studying in UNITEN. I think that the qualities of academic courses and materials available in UNITEN are good and capable enough in generating high-quality and competitive graduates. The fact that graduates from UNITEN are highly preferred and wanted by most of the employers in Malaysia has proven the quality of UNITEN.
Nowadays, tertiary education has become a fundamental requirement for everyone in order to get a good job and to compete in the rat races in workplace. Although there is some people in this world such as the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg have achieved great success without completing their tertiary education, we still can’t deny the fact that tertiary education is really important for all of us. University education is a platform where people are educated and exposed with higher and specific academic materials that are extremely imperative for them to pursue their career. In addition, varsity education also enhances students’ soft skills and prepare them in facing and dealing with the virtual world. In short, tertiary education might not be the only mean to success, but it is undoubtedly a dominant way towards achieving success in this modernization era.
Similar to most of here, I am here for the continue learning reason. After spending more than 13 months at Uniten, I find myself coping better with this learning environment than the period I was just here. The student associations here are actively figuring out activities, sports tournaments, team building, ethics and also community services. These were really awesome and had been the beautiful memories of my first university life.
Just like the message on a poster that was hung on the wall of library corridor “Education is the only knowledge that turns glass into mirror”, people believe that university education works the best for most of the successful people out there in this world. People should not dream on emulating the successful path taken by genius like Thomas E. Edison and Bill Gates who dropped out from college life to success. It is the norm of the modern days for a growing adult to complete a formal schooling before he turns into success.
From my view point, a successful person should be someone with passion and sincerity to raise the nation’s pride on the international stage just like our Datuk Lee Chong Wei did. Not only having the utmost badminton skills, he spares humble attitudes instead of being arrogant to capture the audiences’ heart. I can’t imagine his potential to unite the whole Malaysian community in which most of the nation’s great man failed to do. To me, a successful person in life is not to own the knowledge of the world but to have all the passion.
There is no doubt that the feeling of success is one of the best feelings ever, even if it was of a small success. It is always the moment of your life when you achieve a goal and it gives you a temporary confidence boost. The important thing is to ride on the already built-up wave of confidence and surf higher and further to achieve bigger goals and success. As for me, my biggest personal success so far is getting the JPA scholarship which promises my university education and best of all, overseas experience. Now, I am riding on this wave to achieve even bigger goals of my life, one of which is to become a successful and high-capable mechanical engineer.

Maybe I am a narrow minded person. I am a person who just follows the normal path like many other successful people. In my mind, the sequence to success after getting excellent result in SPM is entering good university. Then, struggle to get at least degree in the course taken. With the degree or master, I will be able to attain good job. In Malaysia, the government employability chances will be given only to those who have high educational background. Even a person has the skills but he or she might be accepted to work if only with diploma background.

Talking about success, I remember an advice from my late grandfather when he bought a new land. He said to me that not everything comes in easy way. We need to work hard to achieve something what we want. It is proven when I was in boarding school. That time I was always want to be like my friends. They always got high marks in every exam but they never study since many of them are gifted person. At first, I feel pressured and felt this world is not fair at all. But I try to work harder and at the end of the day, I managed to have good SPM result. So that time I realize that yeah, my late grandpa is true.

Even though perform well in university, we are still not sure we are able to be employed or not right? To be honest, the only reason why I’m here in UNITEN is because the government wants me to be here. I have never even heard of UNITEN before I received the JPA offer letter. Though UNITEN has its many deficiencies, I think that as an academic institution it is very impressive. I personally believe that my time here in UNITEN has been a beneficial one academically as I have been able to grow in knowledge as an engineer.
In this era of globalization and modernization, knowledge is something integral that one cannot live without. In order to get even a simple job, you have to prove that you have the qualifications to do it. The basis for that qualification is education, especially tertiary level studies.
Success is something which is arbitrary. It is different for every individual. However, I believe that success is seen in the wealth that you amass, the achievements that you accomplish and the power and influence that you gain. It is a background of knowledge which can help me to achieve this and the best way to gain this knowledge is via having a good university education.
Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It's quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn't at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, So, go ahead to try and make some mistakes. Because remember that is how you will succeed. "The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.
Today, I continue my path towards success by studying as a student in Uniten, a place where I am going to sharpen my skills and polish my abilities. The task of a university is the creation of the future, so far as rational thought and civilized modes of appreciation can affect the issue. In here, I learn a lot of new things. I gain new knowledge via lecturers’ amazing lectures, open my mind by participating in all kinds of discussions and socialize better by mingling around with people from all races.
Uniten has good facilities as well. The libraries are well-stocked together with excellent services. Its opening hours until 1030pm everyday is very convenient for me to do research or study. Besides, the sports facilities here are also very outstanding with a good sports centre, swimming pool and fitness centre. If I decided to do something relaxing after tense studies, I can always soak myself in the pool’s cool water or build myself up in the gym with great facilities.
Indeed, I proudly declare that Uniten is a nice place where I prepare and train myself to ensure me a bright future!
Frankly, university are the best place to make someone success but it did not make someone who did not get enrolled in university are unsuccessful. In my opinion, I do believe that university education can make us successful but it is only for someone who yearned for it. People who get university education are not all successful but yet, universities are the best place to seek for success. Success can be achieved when we fulfill our dreams. We surely will have various dreams in life. For me, I wanted to success in education but also in my life. I do think that people who gains straight A`s in exams but failed to show great attitude and gratitude are a total failure. It is true because Uniten has the least advertisement compared to other private universities. Yet, the university never lack of students and amazingly ranked among the top private universities in Malaysia overshadowing Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). So,no doubt that Uniten has the ability to cater quality education to their students since Uniten already generates a number of professional graduates that contribute a lot to the country until now. Success comes in many forms. Be it winning the championship tournament or even achieving excellence in academics, success brings the joy that is simply indescribable. I did not choose to go to UNITEN. I was sent there and my mission in UNITEN is to come out a better person. UNITEN is an institute that generates professionals and these professionals are professionals in academic, in sports, in soft skills and even in the emotional and spiritual aspect. Studying in UNITEN has really expanded my horizons. This institute has taught me a lot of things. I now have a set of skills that lets me study efficiently, make a lot of friends, and manage my time to the fullest.
But the one thing UNITEN has showed me is the various types of people it houses. I now know that there are many people with many different personalities out there and it is up to us to find out the ones compatible with us. I believe I have achieved that. I'm writing this while you are giving your lecture in the class. Befare I say anything, may I say this, i honestly adore your level of enthusiasm in class. Talking about success, I've always dreamt of being a fighter pilot, it sound a bit unorthodox to some, I mean, studying computer sceince to be pilot, yet a fighter pilot for the RMAF.I came a background where my dad has a PhD and masters degree for my mom. I consider my self very lucky on that part. I enjoy fast things, I ride a motorbike instead of driving. I prefer to row than playing football. Because I refuse to go along the mainstream. "Rare" and "Unique" are two words to describe who I really am. The reason why I chose uniten in the 1st place was because I will be able to complete my degree in 3 years instead of four compared to other universities. I don't wanna be an engineer nor a doctor like the majority. The definition of success to me, is to be the best at anything that you choose to be or to do. If you choose to be a lecturer, be the best lecturer possible, try to impress your students in your own way, sing or dance if you have to. If I fly a fighter jet, that would be my ultimate success. My parents wanted me to be an engineer, honestly I took software engineering to give them that good feeling to my parents. I spent 20 years of my life trying to convince my parents to let me do what I did or what I wanna do. Because it seems to be like everything that I do are a wee bit off and defy their perception of success. People might call me crazy, or unorthodox. I travelled the country on my motorbike during the recent 2 weeks semester break, solo style. I was struck by boredom, getting drench wet in the rain, the feeling of being lonely. But that is a huge success, at least to me. I lovee what I do, I enjoy every second of them. I might regret some, just like in business. You win some, and loose some. In sum, my ticket to success is doing what you <3. The best feeling on earth is to get paid to things that you lovee, just like an ice cream tester, racing driver, a professional footballer. I am here in UNITEN because of two reasons. Firstly, my cousins are studying here so my parents feel that it would be nice because we can take care of each other and have a companion. Second, UNITEN offered Information Technology program with majoring in Graphics and Multimedia course which is my interest. Yes, I agree that university is a must undergo process in order to be a successful person although I was trying to drop out and resisting to continue study after SPM because I disagree with the phenomena to get certification for getting a better job in the future. After these years I studying in UNITEN, I realized that university helps me to become a better person. I become more independent because no longer stay with parents so I have to be responsible to myself such as time management. I met friends with various races from all places of Malaysia even foreign countries and this improves my communication skill. Good evening, First of all i am happy to be in your class Ms.Zue. It's really a gift for me to join you again in my last semester in UNITEN. Why am i in UNITEN? First of all i did not do well in my SPM exam and i don't want to do STPM because i know it will be tough for me. Then i got applied a lot of public universities and private universities. I just get approval letter from UNITEN to do Foundation in Information Technology (IT). I really have a lot of interest in IT field so i just accept and want to study in UNITEN. First i am scared because the study and living cost in UNITEN is higher compare than other universities. I really thank to god because i have scored my foundation well and managed to get JPA scholarship. I think UNITEN is the best choice that i have made in my life. University is a platform which is to turn us from teenagers to adult. Here, in university is the place for us to set our own future in our self. Nowadays, to get a bright future, we must have a degree from any university to get a job or success in life. I also did not say that without university scroll we cannot be success in our life. I can say Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan as an example who is a millionaire who did not have any certificate from university. From this i want to tell here is with a scroll from university, it will make our future life easier to get a good job and save life. I always asked this same question to myself, why am i here at UNITEN? and the common answer is for STUDY! why need to further your study? it is because i wanna be a successful girl in the future. I believe that education alone is not the sole criteria to be successful in future. For an example,if we look at some of the big corporations and hospitals which hires doctors and engineers, the sole owner of those corporations might not even obtained a degree from any varsity. So, which is greater? Being a doctor or engineer or being a person who hires a bunch of doctors and engineers to work for him? Of course it requires a significant amount of dedication and hard work to achieve and usually it takes a very long time to acquire success without education. I personally believe that the bank balance and financial background of a person reflects his success to the society. People might argue that money is not everything. However, whether we like it or not, everything needs money. That is a fact. Besides its much more comfortable to cry inside an S class Mercedes Benz than on a bicycle. Nowadays, it has been a trend or shall we say culture that demands every single person in a corporation or business to be a degree holder. A failure to attain a degree might result in a difficulty to obtain the desired job. For me, I believe that university is not only a place to obtain knowledge but to establish our contacts and definitely a platform for self realisation. In other words, a place where we learn more about ourselves,our capabilities and weaknesses. Uniten has given me much valuable lessons about life and how to appreciate things. Hello. Well, 4 years ago, when I first stepped into UNITEN, and if you ask me why I’m here as a UNITEN student, I will surely have no clue about it. But now, I positively know the answer. For the past 4 years I’m here, I not just focused on studies solely, I also tried and still trying to be better at both my interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. Some people maybe finds it difficult to fits with the crowd of mass variety of behavior and not to mention the differences of cultures that we all possessed. But that does not stop me from learning and understanding other people point of views. And most importantly, people used to understand the term of education in an institute of learning as based on academic entirely, that is where the mistakes is. For me, education is where we gather all of our difference types of intelligence to solve problems not only in class, also in our daily basic activities. Education is where we are learning from our mistakes and try improving ourselves. 16 May 2012, is an important day in my life. That is I step into Uniten for my further studies. I believe that Uniten will help me to achieve my goal. My whole family told me that I can do it, that I’m going to be one of the brilliant and successful student. Furthermore, Uniten provides a better place for learning and teaching.
Why I am here in UNITEN? I think it is the arrangement from the God that I believe in. As I can remember, when I graduated from SPM, it feel like I just finish one chapter of my life, and I am about to continue to write new chapter. But when I am about to write this new chapter, I see a lot of life path in front of me such as go into working environment, continue study, or just helping out father at home. My father work as groceries shop owner, monthly income just enough to cover whole family expense for a month, no more and no less. So, that time I consider that I should continue to study or not? I have two uncles that are currently working at Singapore, they had made their carrier successful at there and I wish I could be like them also. So I decided to study, BUT WHERE? I search a lot of private and local institution, and I applied it. One of the private institution that I apply is UNITEN and I get a ticket to board into UNITEN's ship of success of life. Beside that, it is also because of the influence from my friend, he is applying the same institution too. So, I got company here whereby coming from same hometown. I believe that UNITEN education will make me a successful person in the future because in UNITEN, I learned a lot of new things and make a lots of new friends too. First of all, this is very interesting entry. The question why i am here because of i wanna be here! Besides that, why i am here also because of my mother that she've ask me to be here because she want me to be a successful person like my brother. My brother also graduated from Uniten on 2006 and he got Dean List every semester. I do believe that university is a platform for people to start their life to be a successful person andit has been prove by many student that have graduated from university and they got a great job. So, what i can say is Uniten is a ticket for every student to create their successful life including of me. InsyaAllah...:)
Why am I at UNITEN is a big question for me .It has been nearly five months I'm at UNITEN but I still can’t figure out why am I here . Now I'm studying IT foundation , second semester . Actually IT is not really my passion , I'm more interest in architecture and design . Being in UNITEN is not my first choice .I'm trying my best to change my mind about not being here . I know I can be a better person and a better student . Everybody knows that life is full of pressure . I believe , without my centre of my life , those pressure are likely to push me around . I have found taking time to center myself every day gives me the strength to do my best at UNITEN . Even though it is not my passion , I will try my best to make my parents happy to see their daughter grown up as successful person in future .Focusing myself in what I have instead of what I don't have change my mind to study well in UNITEN . I know it is not easy to be a part of UNITEN students . I believe in UNITEN there are a lot of intelligent students studying here , if they can study well here at UNITEN , why not me ? We are just the same , the difference of us is the way we think . As you know , not everyone think the same way . Some people think about their future , they want to have successful future , but some don't even think to be or have a successful future . It only happens when they are in difficulty in their life . I enjoy reading this article and I really appreciate it; well, when we get a degree in any field, we feel our selves to be educated but for me it is just being literate. According to me, learning is called education when we understand its values and try to make it practical. I am still in university and being in school when I look back at my past years I feel what I have really learnt in these years I personally think that there is no absolute answer that will give you a clear direction to follow. I say this because there are hundreds of people with high qualifications who are not able to get a job, There are also hundreds of people who never studied who built up successful businesses and who achieved vast financial wealth. Education is just to keep up on the changes in your chosen industry. With technology as it is today and the speed at which this world travels it is necessary to have a degree with education on the specifics of your chosen field
. Also, there are many people who have degrees who are less successful than many people without degrees. Clearly, this is an indication that a degree is not essential, even though it is valuable. I agree that it can increase the chances of getting hired and lead to economic growth. Having a degree can improve your chances of getting employed. Though a education cannot guarantee an individual's success in his field, it does improve his or her chances of getting hired. Additionally an education offers individual greater options to explore opportunities of their choice. It also improves the literacy rate and thereby helps in economical growth.

Of course by enrolling in University and getting high grades of gpa and cgpa can make you to the employment world but is it a guarantee that after we finished our studies with high grades and cgpa we will get a job?
I am not being too negativity but we can see the news and internet(even tough not totally true) that so many graduates nowadays still have a hard time to get a job.Is it because they have soft skills problem?
Nevertheless, it is depending on the human nature itself. You cannot blame the system or your government as what had happened.Our own success is depending on our work.

Reading this post make my mind keep thinking why actually I’ am in UNITEN now, studying here. Hurmm.. I guess, the standard answer should be I am here to further my study, get knowledge from my lectures for what I am not sure yet. However, after thinking for several hours, I realize that I am here not only to gain knowledge, but also to practice soft skill and prepare myself to be more discipline. Here, at UNITEN, to feel the university’s life, I think that I have to enjoy some activities done by university. Since UNITEN is not a fully-government university, the ‘siswa’ is not addicted to university programs, but they more to their own social life. From the seniors, I know that there are a lot of UNITEN fresh graduate accepted to work even before the graduation day. Therefore, for me myself, I do believe that university education will make me a successful person since here I can gain experience, knowledge and practice some soft-skills. ‘UNITEN Generate Professional’ :)
To be honest, I'm here in UNITEN to satisfy my thirst for knowledge, I've been raised up as a kid that always question why does this happen or how does that machine works. Most of my curiosity for information is easily reachable via the internet, but there are knowledge that are only taught by experience and is only available in very limited places. As for success, it does not rely solely on what degree or doctorate you got, it also depends on the persons attitude towards life, seeing a mistake as weight or just another thing to improve yourself on can make a big difference towards being a successful person.
The reason i choose UNITEN is because of the reputation of the university itself and i just want to try something new for example in my previous field of study is base on programming but in UNITEN i choose to switch to more into networking. I believe by sometime changing your direction in studying to became success, you can gain more experience and you can challenge yourself in a different way. Also i believe university education will help me to became success when i'm going to face the outside world later. In university there must be two kind of way when it comes to learning, one must done in theoratically and the other one is by pratically or practice yourself to became more sharper and gain more experience in field that you learn in university. The standard in university education is also high and almost with the same level when you go to work outside.

Successful may come in varies definition and meaning. Well, it depends on the individual. For me, we have to be open minded and don't be judgmental in defining the successful term. In this era and modern lifestyle, people are not being that typical mind set of successful anymore. As we know, back then definition of successful is been defined as scoring a very good result in examinations and even if you succeeded to enter the university. But for me, successful is defined as you can earn your money without debts, having a great life and family, help others and do faith in God. People are struggling to survive, but you don't know what kind of circumstances and problems their having. So, we can't really judge, people with good result and having luxurious life as successful. Being grateful, thankful and always feel enough is also successful. But i'm not saying, we can't have precious luxury life and good result. But, if you have good attitudes you can obtain good result and good life instead. In life, people struggle for improvement. When thinking UNITEN as my choice to continue my higher studies, first thing that strikes my mind is to get a salable scroll, but that is not the only thing to achieve in a University. Surely, a degree is crucial for succeeding in job market but a degree alone is not enough. This is where UNITEN shows its specialty, UNITEN is not only produce recognized degrees but it has great achievement in curriculum also. Studying in UNITEN will make me a successful person in both studies and curriculum. Since UNITEN is one of the oldest Universities in Malaysia, it is well recognized by local and foreign companies. When comes to learning, UNITEN provide greatly talented and educated teaching staffs and provides good facilities such as labs for students to apply their studies practically. This is to ensure the students to perform well in their careers. Moreover, UNITEN also provide facilities and encourage student to involve in curricular activities, this will provide mentally and physically healthy students. Well, there are some drawbacks at UNITEN such as sufficient accommodation and good food outlets compared to other IPTS but we are not here for honeymoon so it will not be a problem to continue our studies here. Finally, I think UNITEN is doing well in generating professional and I’m glad and have no regrets joining UNITEN.

Bill gates, former chief executive and current chairman of Microsoft did not complete his university education but still he is a successful man. Not everyone have this kind of opportunity. As for me I personally believe that university education will make me as a successful person in the future. University not only give a student education, it also gives the student some extra skills such as soft skills, management skills and many more for them to survive at the other world. As for me UNITEN is a first choice university for me because UNITEN provide world class of undergraduates and the education level is recognized all over the world. Besides being a good IT scientist. For my point of view, Uniten or any other universities are only a platform or catalyst for students to achieve greater success. It is actually depends on the student's attitude, positive thinking and how the students represent themselves are more important. Here is my thought regarding the topic above.
Firstly, i think that university is a valid benchmark for success. As we can see nowadays especially when we were entering working phase as employees the companies usually set up their requirements to hire a person. Normally the lowest requirement needs you to be a SPM holder. However the position offered is usually in tye lowest rank in the company.
The enrollment in university is different for each person. In my case i just felt that getting enrolled into university is a must. Nowadays everyone go to university after school. In order to have a great future or to have a very pleasant life ahead is to graduate from universities. Why am i in UNITEN? The answer is i rejected the offer from UPM because it is in Sarawak campus. Since it is far, my family and i decided to find a nearer universities. My father is a TNB employees so i think why not if i grab this opportunity to further my studies here. By the way i've done my research about UNITEN. The conclusion is many had told me that UNITEN is an established universities and well known by others. and i believed that university education will make me a successful person because in university it is never about studies only,it is time where you can find out your real capabilities and polish our potential to the maximum.

to be honest with you, uniten is not the first choice for me continue my degree level. My first choice would be UITM and i was keen to enter UITM since in secondary school. I know about uniten from my friend. he said that he gonna continue his degree at uniten and he ask me to join him.
When entering uniten, the first thing that i wanna find out is about uniten sport. is it active or not? because i love sports so much especially football and volleyball. on top of that, i also think that uniten is the choice for me because i believe UNITEN will provide me with the best education. In addition, i also want to try manage myself to be more discipline and want to stand on my own feet and not depend on my parents anymore. I will do my best to achive my dream.

Nowadays, more and more people choose to enter university or college after they have completed the study in high school. Different people do so for different reasons. In my view, career preparation and self-actualization are two main reasons that so many people consider attending university or college.
The reason why I am here in UNITEN is because I want to further my studies in Graphic and Multimedia. Ever since I was a little boy, I have always been very fascinated with the ever evolving IT creativity. My mother is an Art Teacher and I think I may have followed her creative steps to become a great Graphic Designer. My father recommended me to enter UNITEN because he believe that UNITEN provides good education and it is highly regarded as a top notch University in Malaysia. I took my father's advice and without a doubt it was simply one of the best decisions I've made in my life. Yes I do think Universities is a good platform for me to succeed in life, but it needs hard work, passion and a lot of dedication. Many people have their own interpretation of success but I will never measure success based on how much money you make, how famous you are or how powerful your are, none of that means ‘success’ to me. Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) is the university which I am studying at .It is a unique institution, providing both academic programmes and engineering technology skills training within the same campus. The university is focused on engineering, information technology, business management and others.The university has a good environment and people. Its role is to provide a good quality education to make the students well-prepared for industry, commerce and academic positions.
There are many reasons why students choose colleges these days. What are yours?.As i am from saudi arabia and under fully scholarship from the Saudi government I chosed to study abroad in malaysia at uniten university because I like to be part of a big group. Also, because my country has a list of the best universities in Malaysia and my university is on the list.It is close to my home which takes me about 7 min driving and the way is safe and no traffic jam.I have a lot of friends in there.Also, my university has a really strong college of information technology and I wanted to study under the best minds in Malaysia.I wanted a college that offered a program for the major that I choose.

I aim to study here since my age is 14 years old. I don’t know about the quality that time, but the things that I know is that my brother have studied here and there for the university must have a good quality and reputation because my brother is my idol.
Yes, I believe that university education will make you a successful person because you will learn about life, to prepare yourself for the future, brush up your skill and to know the ability of your own. This few things at least will make you a successful person when you use the knowledge that you have. The knowledge will become larger and powerful if you use it on the right way. As we know, there are a various of subject in different course that have been offered that are include core subject and some additional subject that need to take to full up the credit hours and also the university got an activity and club for students to get involve. So why is that important to actually register for additional subject which does not in our syllabus course, for example; psychological management? So you (student) do some research before go to the class and it make sense about student need to know how to manage stress well even more when you are studying. It is a big opportunity to student get involve in any activity and club. Student can train to be a leader and can manage people well, brainstorm ideas to make an attractive activity, for example. Why am i in uniten? This is realy a good question for me. At first, i don't like uniten at all. I even hate it. Why am i got such mind? Because i came form chinese school. I may nt able to suit myself in uniten which full filled with Malays n Indians bt nt Chinese. Although i can make friend easily, bt it stil a problem for me to be suit in uniten. After somedays, i totally change my mind. I found out that study in uniten is a good n comfortable place. I start to accept it. I make a lot of fren n i learnt some Malays language to communicate. Is it consider a kind of success? Now i study for trimester 2, i discover that uniten reali a best place for me to achieve my goal. Uniten had high level qualification and certificate. Well, to be honest, I have heard a lot of good things about it from my friends who used to be UNITEN students. I checked the University's undergraduate courses and I found the course of my dreams;, Graphics and Multimedia that is.
I don't believe that university education alone can make a person successful, there is much more to success than just that. A person should have a dream in order to be successful, followed by ambition, hard work and the will to do almost anything that would lead that person to his/her goal.

As a uniten student i felt that i have made a rigth choice to futher my studies in here.At the first i though that university is a boring life because of the assignment,quiz andexam.But everything change when i step into Uniten and the most memorable moment as a student in Uniten was the orientation week.I have met my patner( I mean friends) in Uniten and my senior's.At the moment onwards i have set that Uniten is my new home, my parents will be my lecturer, and my friends will be my siblings.As the set of my mind, i have set my goal of my career to gained at least 3.5 pointer for my every Trisem in this Foundation.Why did i sayed that Uniten is a good place to continue of futher study? Its because as the Moto of Uniten is to generate professional.So why do we didn't just follow the moto of uniten and beleive that we are the professional and uniten are generating us.So beacause of that, i think that Uniten is best the university that i feel like a home and i believe that i can hope on Uniten that give a bright future for succes in my life.

University education is like a starting point. You get experienca and some basic knowledge, which you can develope in practice. Success cannot be determined by one single action such as the studies at university. Success should build up by continuos chain of actions that support each other. So I think that the knowledge that I get in the university is just one of the links of that chain.
I think I am exactly where I'm supposed to be, right here right now. I'm here to discover my own self and my own potentials as a student. Well I’m here to chasing my ambition which is what I want it to be in the future. For my personal opinion I have made the right choice ever to further my studies overseas, it was really hard at the starting point, but the new environment has taught me a lot, besides that my parents, siblings and friends they were motivating me to achieve my goals.

After SPM, I got accepted into a university in Arau, Perlis. When I was 18, studying at the most Northern place in this country was the last thing I would choose. I have been living in KL since I was little. So I did not think I could adapt to the Northern culture. Looking at me who was so hopeless at that time, my dad asked me whether or not I want to join UNITEN. I said, "yes", without thinking any further. I was totally excited because it is only 30 minutes away from my place. Back in high school, my favorite subject was Maths and I was quite disappointed as UNITEN does not offer any Maths-related course. So, I chose Computer Science. In the beginning, I had zero idea about the course. And yes, I was not ready to further my studies at that time.
As time flies by, I realized how important and valuable education is. I promised myself to keep my head into my studies and I believe UNITEN is a good platform in producing successful graduates. The world is growing rapidly and keeps on changing. Therefore, higher education is very important because it is the main key to a person's future. It helps people to face the world and be more competitive.
Actually when i was finished from secondary school my result is to low to study for any university in my country so i decided to repeat the final year for the secondary school , but my father tell about the study in Malaysia and sent my documents to agent office in Malaysia and said to me you are in uniten.
I agree uniten is the best place to achieve what you want with Perseverance.
I almost believe the university well make any body a successful person because it have high education and you must study hard.

"National River Clean-Up"
65% of the nation’s drinking water can be extracted from rivers, but garbage and pollution can dirty the safety of the river and its beauty. Most countries live around a big distance of a river or stream, and cleaning up trash and other dirts can help to save the vital resources. There a lot of programs in most of the countries call “National River Cleanup Program”.It helps the society make their rivers cleaner and safer.
Having a Healthy rivers have many benefits for the future ,like cleaning drinking water, wildlife habitat, and recreation opportunities. Unfortunately, a lot of tons of trash – including plastic bags, old tires, and large appliances – end up in our rivers. A lot of these trash can harm the system of rivers.
In the end I would like to advise people to be one of the volunteers and participate in the National River Cleanup Program for them country.That will help them having a healthy and beautiful river.

Personally i agree with the students who want work as part time .It may effect on their performance at the university but they will get the experience with is the most important thing when you want apply for a job later.The reason why I agree with working as a part time job is because There are a number of advantages in getting part-time work while you're a student, and it's definitely something you should consider if you're having trouble making your student loan stretch through the term. Firstly Money is the most important thing for the students and by the money students can pay the fees ,buy some books or buying some stuff that help them when they study. Secoundly
Experience,when you get into the work you will get experience that will help you when you apply for job in the future and as everyone knows experience can't be bought by any amount of money.
To conclude that I strongly advise students to work as a part time Job to help themselves and get the experience witch is can't be bought by any amount of money

I strongly agree with students who want to work as a part time job because they can use the money that they get to pay for the university’s fees. Besides that working as a part time job brings the experience witch will help for the future. Students who work as a part time job will learn how to arrange their time between studying and working, so they will learn how to arrange their time when they have many things to do.

i disagree with the students who work as a part job because they can’t match between studying and working .more than that they if they work as apart time job that might effect on their studying or they might fail, so if they fail it is like they fail twice in their job and studying.
i have desire to success and it is greater than my fear of failure. I'm not sure if uniten is a platform for successful life but I believe a formal education would make me a living and i believe that hard work and effort would definitely be paid.

I believe that university education will definitely make me a successful person in future.Success doesn't comes free but we will all have to work hard to gain it.We can't just hope to be a successful person without putting any effort.Basically i think that everyone should set a target you want to achieve and should start work for it.Continues effort will make the human to achieve their goal at the end. Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) is the university which I am studying at .It is a unique institution, providing both academic programmes and engineering technology skills training within the same campus. The university is focused on engineering, information technology, business management and others.The university has a good environment and people. Its role is to provide a good quality education to make the students well-prepared for industry, commerce and academic positions.
Do i believe that university education will make me a successful person? i think yes. it is because in university,student can learn on how to be a person and how to control their life. an university, student will create their own lifestyle and follow about it to be more successful person. in university there are so many lifestyle that can be created, it depend on a person him/her self to make it difficult or not.
Therefore, university education is important when you are applying for a job

With the bad economy and competitive job market, having a degree is becoming increasingly important. Although in the past, degrees weren't always necessary, now companies are using a college education as a way to filter applicants. While some may not use their specific degree, it is always good to have one for the future. =)

For me, learning is about opening my eyes to the world around me. I used to think that secondary school was everything but no. There's always others. Other option to leave and find something better and suited me. That's why in here, in UNITEN. Education is about doing things. Draw, take pictures, learn a computer program, teach myself a new language and do volunteer work. All of these things expand myself and create a new opportunities for me to success.

Being in Uniten, is a way that I can grab mu success. Living in a harmony environment, learn what I should learn and I think 4 years at Uniten were awesome!
I choose UNITEN to further my studies because i believe that UNITEN is a better university compare to the other private universities in Malaysia. It has all the facilities nearby and the location is quite strategic compared to other few universities around us. futhermore, the facilities that are provided in campus very useful. As a student, we have all the facilities and need to be upgraded. I hope i could do my best and achieve success in UNITEN and make proud of it.

Ticket for success. Hmmm what should i share in here. Maybe i could start from my experience after high school?
Well, Life as a student always surround me with friends and away from family. Every time i got the chance to pursue my studies, i must live away from family and i think that's called adventure.
However, after left high school in Klang, I have my personal decision about where to go. While waiting for my calling from UNITEN, i worked as a part-timer in KLCC as a banquet staff. It was a meaningful experience as i start to know the world and how to make a friend even it was tiring every single day. Im glad I am still standing and could sit to remind my old stories of my life.
Meanwhile, my father keep pushing me to think which university should i go and what course that I really expert. Fortunately UNITEN grabbed my to offer as Information Technology student and my father was very encouraged me to take this course even frankly I am not into this course. Maybe my profession is more to linguistic because I am more interested in learning language and other culture. But, bygone is bygone.
Life as a student now in UNITEN at least teach me how to make a real friend and I need to aware of choosing friends. I am so lucky to be with these international group from Arab. A good things, i slightly can understand and speak of their language and they are totally treat me like an Arabian just because of my language and the accent that I used.
Woww, I think that is super cool experience that i ever have and i dont have to worry about my past decision that it is came up after a while I am in UNITEN.
The conclusion is, one should not simple worry and feel bad for what the decision that happening now because every single things in our lives is valuable.

Hi puan Zue. I am in Uniten because I think education is very important to us nowadays. It is because with higher education, we only can get a better job
and also better salary. However, i don't think university can lead us to be a successful person. University is only a better chance to make us to be a successful person more easily.
Frankly speaking, Uniten is not on top of my list, nor also for the course I’m taking. At first, I was ambitious on entering well-known universities in Malaysia and taking the main stream courses. However I failed to aim for my target due to poor results in my STPM. The term engineering courses once in my to-do list, now has been erased. Ah who cares about the past, even a boo-hoo doesn’t change the past. The most important task is to take a break and start all over again. Success isn’t about crossing the finish line and done! Success is about what you had learned from the process. Although I have failed on my achievements, but I have succeed on getting myself up again and to live on. In university or other schools and colleges, there’s no syllabus that can teach us to be a successful person, it is us to shape ourselves to be successful. Therefore in this young adult’s stage, never doubt yourselves on targeting your aim, nor afraid of failure. Failure is the mother of success! Good luck guys on ‘targeting’ your success.

I’m at UNITEN because i realise that UNITEN is the best place to study IT. Of course, I believe that university education is the place to be success. Because it provides with the high level education which we need it to get a job in future. University also help the student to gain their experience through subjects that it take. So, i’m happy here

Currently, I am enrolled in Uniten as a student. I joined Uniten as it is well recognized. I choose the Information and Technology line as a software engineer as I noticed the growth in the IT world is expanding as one of the leading industry in the world. Thus my dream to peruse software engineering became brighter as I was accepted to Uniten . Through my ongoing experience in Uniten I gained allot of great experience by enrolling in the programs hold in this University. In addition, the latest award gained by Uniten the Tire 5 EXCELLENCE for D-SETARA 2011 pushed Uniten to greater heights and is more recognized. No doubt by the time I finish my degree in software engineering in Uniten, I will be well prepared for my working life and also further my education level.
Indeed, a university education is one step closer for me to achieve my dream to get my degree in Information Technology. By getting a degree I would be able to get my dream job as the IT analyst after I graduated. I am here in UNITEN because of the Information Technology courses offered by UNITEN and believe UNITEN would provide the best education for me. Moreover, I heard that UNITEN student always excel in their studies.
Yes, I do believe university education would definitely make me a successful person as its grooms me to be a confident person. In class, lecturer has been exposing the students to the highly demand employer, so we need to be well prepared to face the working environment. I believe i can prove that i can succeed.yes,i did great in my semester one which is i get better marks.It's hard for me to get better marks, i always treat the lecturers as my friend, so that it will be easier for me to understand on what they are teaching.

Yes of course, university education will make me a successful person in future. Hmm yeah, even business can leads us to be a successful person, but not all can success in business field.
